She admitted she could never imagine dating a man from the US now because they’re ‘overwhelming’.

She mentioned that yes, indeed, George hails from Britain. Interestingly enough, after staying here for such a lengthy period, she finds herself becoming increasingly mindful of the contrasts when she returns to the United States.

I find American men rather intense or overbearing at times; it’s almost as if they have too much energy. I often feel the urge to tell them to take things easier.

As someone who was raised in that cultural background, it wasn’t until I moved here and experienced a diverse range of relationships, particularly with European men, many years down the line, that I began to appreciate and understand the differences.
