Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross’ burglary alarm sparks police visit to A-lister’s LA home

A recent report indicates that the authorities were summoned to the home of Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross following the activation of a burglar alarm at their Los Angeles property early on Monday.

A source connected to law enforcement shared with TMZ that police were dispatched to investigate a suspected break-in at the residence, following a phone call about an activated alarm from someone related to the couple.

As a lifestyle expert, I can share that it remains uncertain whether Ashlee, aged 40, and her husband, who is 36 years old, were present during the occurrence in question. Interestingly, neither of them reached out to the authorities themselves regarding the incident, according to reliable sources who spoke with the site.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, let me share an experience I recently had at home – though thankfully, it wasn’t something most people encounter. The local authorities carried out an inspection at my residence, but alas, there were no obvious signs of a break-in or forcible entry discovered during their search.

The authorities concluded that either the suspected intruders had departed from the location or it was a mistaken alert, as indicated by the site.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for the couple for comment but have yet to hear back.

Ashlee and Evan got married in 2014 and share a nine-year-old daughter named Jagger Snow and a four-year-old son called Ziggy Blu. Additionally, Ashlee has an older teenage son, Bronx Mowgli, who is sixteen years old, from her previous relationship with Pete Wentz.

Over the past month, not just the potential burglary incident has been a hot topic, but other prominent figures in the Los Angeles region have also reportedly fallen victim to suspected burglaries.

At their LA residence, American Idol executive Robin Kaye (age 70) and her spouse Thomas DeLuca (also 70), unexpectedly encountered a suspected intruder who fatally shot them both.

I was tragically taken down by an unfeeling trespasser who seized upon my very own defensive weapon to carry out his heinous act.

Raymond Boodarian, an Encino resident, was later arrested.

On July 10, investigators suspect that Raymond may have been breaking into the house since the couple was absent, and tragically, he fired shots when they unexpectedly came back home.

The 22-year-old is facing charges for two counts of murder, along with additional accusations, connected to the fatalities.

Raymond has not yet submitted a plea; his next court date is set for August 20th. At present, he remains incarcerated without bond at the Twin Towers Detention Center located in downtown Los Angeles.

An alleged attempted burglary also occurred at Teddi Mellencamp’s Encino home earlier this month.

Three people tried to gain access to the Encino, California property they share with Arroyave, but their attempt was thwarted by a high-tech home security system that scared them off and triggered a police response.

At 10:11 pm, she shared a video where three individuals clad in black leaped over the primary entrance gate of her property, subsequently strolling casually across the driveway towards the residence.

In my exploration of maintaining a secure living space, I discovered that intruders often find creative ways to gain access. For instance, after reviewing video footage from a secondary security camera, I noticed they had squeezed through a small wooden side gate and proceeded deeper onto the property.

Gently, one person opened the side door and invited the other two inside, leading them to sneak along the house’s side.

In the footage, it’s apparent that the individual at the forefront appeared to unzip a bagpack and take out an indistinct, curved item.

Gradually, they moved onward, but then, in a flash, they spun about and hurriedly exited through the gate upon noticing that the burglar alarm seemed to have detected their presence.

‘Mellencamp expressed his thanks that no one was hurt, writing in the caption. Despite being rattled, he feels lucky to have modern home security equipment that successfully kept away the trespassers.’

‘We notified the authorities who promptly acted. Everyone’s increased vigilance is appreciated due to the recent crimes nearby, but rest assured, we remain secure.’

Previously, TMZ was informed by law enforcement officials that they were dispatched to a reported break-in and promptly arrived at the location.

By the time officers arrived, the suspects had already fled.

Officials suspect that the people in question had recently burgled a nearby house, then tried breaking into Teddi’s place next.
