NEOCRAFT LIMITED has announced that its popular role-playing game, Ash Echoes, will be shutting down on June 18, 2026. The game first had a closed beta test for Android users in China in 2023, followed by pre-registration opening in July 2024, and a full global release in November 2024.
The game is closing its doors sooner than expected, leaving fans disappointed
Ash Echoes is a fast-paced RPG where you command a team of heroes in real-time battles across different dimensions within the world of Senlo. As the Director of S.E.E.D, you’ll lead unique characters against challenging enemies, and you can also put your abilities to the test in a Roguelike mode.

The team behind Ash Echoes announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the game will be discontinued on June 18, 2026. They expressed gratitude for players’ support, but didn’t explain why they’re shutting it down.
You can keep playing until EOS and transfer your account to other Neocraft titles
The game will be available for download until May 7, 2026. After that date, you won’t be able to download the game or make any purchases within it. The final update for the Chapter 9 Main Story Event will also be released on May 7th, and you can continue playing the game until it’s no longer supported. Between May 7th and the end of support, you’ll receive daily rewards such as Resonance Clues and Momentary Backflashes.
I’m a bit sad to hear that Kemono Friends: Kingdom is ending on May 30th, but it’s cool that the developers are letting us transfer our accounts to other games they make, like Tree of Savior: Neo or Tales of Wind: Radiant Rebirth. And the best part? They’re going to give us back everything we spent in the game as in-game currency in those other titles, which is awesome!
As a huge fan, I’m honestly heartbroken to hear this. I’ve seen so many people saying how amazing Ash Echoes is – one person even said it’s the game they’ve ever loved the most! It’s just so frustrating because even though it did really well, earning over $570,000 and building a dedicated fanbase, there won’t be an offline version. It’s a real shame, but that seems to be that.
