Rick Sanchez, a fugitive wanted across the entire multiverse, is constantly evading capture. A massive reward has been offered for his arrest – dead or alive – attracting hunters of all kinds, from governments and criminals to even religious groups and circus performers. The only person who might be able to bring Rick in safely is his grandson, Morty Smith. However, Morty isn’t the only member of his family pursuing Rick; a version of Beth Smith from another dimension, known as “Space Beth,” is also determined to capture him, no matter the cost. The chase is on, and it’s a race to see who reaches Rick first!

What happens in the preview pages of Rick and Morty: The End #1?

Morty Smith is in big trouble because of things Rick Sanchez did in the past, specifically during the events of Rick and Morty Versus the Universe. He’s now on trial, judged by all the universes Rick and Morty have impacted over the years – including their home universe and the quirky Parmesan Universe, where everyone says “parmesan” as “par-mee-zee-an”.

Surprisingly, Morty manages to save every Morty across the multiverse by sacrificing Rick, essentially blaming him for everything.

Rick has ended up in a different universe where things are quite a bit different. Notably, his daughter is married to a thriving Black pilot, a much more exciting match than her husband, Jerry, in his original universe.
