Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Plays Sex-Addict in ‘The White Lotus’

After just the first episode of HBO’s The White Lotus, it’s evident that a particular actor and an intriguing storyline will likely steal the show when we reach season three.

In past years, the series was shot in Hawaii and Sicily, but this time around, the exotic backdrop is Thailand, where a fictional high-end resort is located. It’s Patrick Schwarzenegger, aged 31, who’s captivating viewers’ attention and stirring curiosity.

In the finale of the premiere episode, I was left astounded, having bared witness to a starkly naked Patrick and a storyline teetering on the edge of potential same-family romance, hinting at underlying homosexual undertones.

In a different phrasing: As Timothy Saxon, the oldest child from a rich family (portrayed by Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey), Patrick’s character is depicted as a womanizer with an insatiable sexual appetite. He spends much of his time lounging by the pool, flirting with women, and participating in some of the most explicit sexual scenes ever shown on the program.

As a doting father, I couldn’t help but swell with pride when my son and I strolled down the red carpet together at the Hollywood premiere of White Lotus 3 last week, just like Arnold Schwarzenegger. The sense of fatherly honor only grew as I looked upon his robust physique.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, 77 years old, expressed his pride on social media following an event by stating: “What a performance! It seems I shouldn’t be surprised to find out he follows in my footsteps, for the saying goes, ‘An apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.’

People in Hollywood are buzzing about a comment, with many believing that the younger Schwarzenegger might have drawn some inspiration for portraying a character as a sex addict…possibly from his father.

If you were around Hollywood during the 1990s, ask anyone about Arnold Schwarzenegger Sr., the man behind iconic films like Terminator, Total Recall, and Kindergarten Cop, and they’ll share with you that he was infamously known as one of the town’s most charismatic flirts.

In the days leading up to our 1993 interview for “Last Action Hero”, my friend, who was a publicist, advised me to stay vigilant because he might become touchy-feely.

‘Don’t end up in his trailer alone with him.’

Of course, that is exactly where I ended up and, as warned, he was wildly flirtatious.

At some point, he slid his hand beneath the table to gently tap my knee. Later, when I shifted position to settle on a couch, he followed suit, sitting right beside me, with his massive leg resting against mine.

As a modern lifestyle guide, I must emphasize that in today’s era following the #MeToo movement, any professional conduct towards a significantly younger colleague may raise eyebrows and potentially warrant attention or discussion about appropriate workplace behavior.

However, those were distinct periods, and I must admit that this wasn’t a unique occurrence. On several occasions, older male celebrities have shown interest in me.

In those days, fellow female journalists and I often shared our experiences with inappropriate behavior from prominent figures in the industry. It wasn’t a secret among us who these individuals were.

In contrast to my relatively tame meeting with Schwarhenegger, there was another, more intense experience I had around the same period involving a world-famous Academy Award laureate. This person forced me up against a wall and aggressively attempted to kiss me without my consent.

I attribute Schwarzenegger’s actions to his habitual flirting, and I exited the situation with both my tale and my good name still untarnished.

However, several years after seeking the position of Governor of California (which he served from 2003 to 2011), his history of womanizing nearly sabotaged his campaign when six women publicly accused him of sexual misconduct spanning a three-decade period, dating back to the 1970s.

One of them was Anna Richardson, a British television host, who encountered him at the Dorchester Hotel in London back in 2000: “I extended my hand to greet him, but instead, he pulled me towards his knee and asked, ‘Before you leave, can I find out if your breasts are natural?’ At that moment, he traced my left nipple with his finger and confirmed, ‘Yes, they are indeed real.’

According to three females, he is said to have inappropriately touched their chests, while a fourth asserted that he went beneath her skirt and touched her backside in an unwanted manner.

It’s claimed that he attempted to take off another person’s swimsuit inside a hotel elevator. Additionally, a source alleges that the actor forcibly dragged this individual onto his lap and inquired about whether a specific sexual act had previously been performed on them.

Four women chose to remain anonymous as they voiced their accusations, with one stating, “In what position was I to act differently? He was the most highly paid actor globally, and I was merely an assistant.

Another said: ‘Did he rape me? No. Did he humiliate me? You bet he did.’

As a die-hard fan, let me share how I understand the recent statement from my idol, the ex-Mr. Olympia who hails from Austria. In his own words, he admitted to some questionable behavior and extended an apology. However, he also emphasized that not everything you read in the stories is accurate. Yet, he cautiously acknowledged a hint of truth in the rumors by saying, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

He admitted that he had been on boisterous film sets and acknowledged doing actions that were wrong, which he considered as playful at the time.

I understand now that I caused hurt to some individuals. To those I’ve hurt, I would like to express my sincere regret and offer a heartfelt apology.

2011 brought even more hardship as his careless behavior towards sex damaged his marriage with television host Maria Shriver, who is the mother of four out of his five children aged between 35 and 27.

In 1986, Arnold Schwarzenegger tied the knot with Shriver, who is a relative of President John F. Kennedy through her mother Eunice. This wedding ceremony took place close to the Kennedy family estate in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, where Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of JFK, served as the matron of honor for Schwarzenegger’s bride.

They didn’t end their marriage until the year 2021 (after years of disagreements over their $500m wealth), but their union disintegrated more than a decade prior, when it was made public that Schwarzenegger had fathered a child with their maid, Mildred Baena.

Joseph Baena was born in 1997, five days after Maria gave birth to their youngest son, Christopher. However, it wasn’t until Schwarzenegger’s governorship ended in 2011 that the media made public his affair, which had taken place prior to this time.

Later on, Arnold acknowledged that it was his mistake, his shortcoming, and everyone else had to bear the consequences. Maria, the children, Joseph, his mother – they all had to endure the hardship.

Recently, I’ve been utterly captivated by the insights of Patrick. You know what struck me most? In an interview, he shared that it was his mother who shoulderered the majority of the weight in raising him and his siblings. Simply put, she did the bulk of the parenting work, a fact that speaks volumes about her strength and dedication.

According to those close to Maria, she barely discussed any topics other than their children with Arnold following the breakup.

One observed: ‘Over time, their relationship has grown stronger, yet during the premiere of Patrick’s show, she stood apart from Arnold on the red carpet. It seems that such a profound act of betrayal might never truly be forgotten.’

However, although Patrick might have used some recollections from his childhood to portray the roguish Saxon role in White Lotus 3, in reality, he is as far removed from the womanizing character destined to make him famous as possible.

For about ten years now, he’s been in a relationship with model Abby Champion, who is 27 years old. Last year, they got engaged, which coincided with him finding out he secured the role of The White Lotus and would be shooting in Thailand for a period of seven months.

During the interviews for the promotion of the show, Patrick openly expressed that he has moved past any resentment or negative feelings he once harbored towards his father due to his infidelity.

He talked lovingly about how being on sets with him spawned his passion for acting.

He shared with People magazine that his initial passion for acting was sparked during times spent with his father.

Instead of regularly taking me out of school early, he’d often arrange it so I could visit Universal Studios. As a kid, I’d watch him enter as a father figure, then exit transformed into Mr. Freeze from the 1997 Batman & Robin movie. I would spend the entire day there, completely captivated by everything related to film.

Friends say Schwarzenegger Sr. has long-since settled down and changed his ways.

For the past ten years, he’s been in a relationship with his psychological therapist, Heather Milligan. These days, he devotes much of his time to taking care of his miniature donkeys, four dogs, and a pet pig named Schelly.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share my unwavering admiration for this inspirational figure. Every day, he diligently hits the gym, an action that never ceases to amaze me. He’s penned a transformative self-help book titled ‘Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life’, a guide I eagerly awaited and devoured. On Instagram, where he boasts a staggering 26 million followers, he tirelessly advocates for fitness and wellness, constantly igniting the flame of motivation within us all.

Patrick reacted to his father’s remarks concerning his nude scene in White Lotus by posting on X: “Parents… (face palm emojis twice).

Following the chaos and distress that his father’s infidelities brought about earlier, it likely brings him some comfort now that his main concern is avoiding a potentially awkward comment.

Representatives for Arnold Schwarzenegger did not respond to the Daily Mail’s request for comment.
