Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch Added To Predator: Killer of Killers’ Ending

In a recent update, Director Dan Trachtenberg, known for his work on Predator series projects, disclosed that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character Dutch Schaefer will be featured in the finale of the 2025 animated film “Predator: Killer of Killers.” The character Dutch debuted in the 1987 movie “Predator” and has intermittently appeared in different franchise media since then. Notably, Trachtenberg’s first Predator project was the 2022 release “Prey,” and he has since directed both “Predator: Killer of Killers” and the upcoming film “Predator: Badlands.

Predator: Killer of Killers gets extended ending with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch

At San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, I learned about an expanded version of Predator: Killer of Killers that dropped on Hulu the same day. This fresh take includes a concluding scene where Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch and Danny Glover’s Lieutenant Mike Harrigan (from Predator 2) reunite, alongside Amber Midthunder’s Naru from Prey. As a die-hard Predator fan, I can hardly wait to see how these iconic characters intertwine in this thrilling new chapter!

During a talk at the Hall H panel for 20th Century Studios / Disney’s Predator: Badlands, the filmmaker shared that he had breakfast with Schwarzenegger and received his approval to incorporate his image in the movie. Additionally, it was mentioned that the Terminator actor granted permission for the use of Dutch character in future installments of the franchise (as reported by Variety).

Masters of Battle” – A Compilation Explores a Scandinavian Viking, a Japanese Rōnin, and an Allied World War II Pilot, who are mysteriously transported to a barren planet by the Yautja for mortal combat. Instead of succumbing to their fate, they rise against their captors and attempt an escape. In the extended edition’s conclusion, Ursa, the Scandinavian warrior, gets captured once more by the Yautja and is confined alongside Naru, Dutch, and Harrigan, hinting at possible future roles in the franchise.

Originally aired on Hulu on June 6, 2025 as “Predator: Killer of Killers”, this sequel titled “Predator: Badlands” will hit U.S. theaters on November 7, 2025.
