Armie Hammer references cannibalism controversy as he returns with music video cameo after abuse allegations

As an ardent fan of Armie Hammer, I must admit that my heart skipped a beat when I saw his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Georgina ‘Georgie’ Leahy’s music video for Typical Squeeze. It’s been quite the rollercoaster ride for Armie, and his life experiences have undoubtedly shaped him into the artist he is today.

Armie Hammer is continuing his attempted comeback with a new appearance in a music video.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself making an appearance in the freshly dropped music video for “Typical Squeeze” by the multitalented Georgina ‘Georgie’ Leahy.

What’s even more surprising than Hammer’s comeback attempt in acting is the allegation that he subtly mentions past accusations of his discussion about cannibalistic desires with women who claimed he abused them.

In the YouTube credits for Leahy’s video, Hammer’s character is flippantly named ‘Kannibal Ken.’

However, it might not come as a complete shock to the fans of the Call Me by Your Name actor, given that he himself confessed in October about his growing fondness for the “cannibal-themed” elements that have been surrounding him as he endeavors to rejuvenate his career.

After the debut of Hammer’s HammerTime podcast in late October, followed by the news that same month about him securing a film role marking his return to acting since accusations of sexual and physical misconduct momentarily halted his professional progression, there came a minor part in a music video.

In the music video for “Typical Squeeze,” Hammer makes a brief, almost unnoticeable appearance. This happens during a stylishly rendered sequence where Leahy is seen cruising in a vintage convertible, navigating a caricatured depiction of Hollywood.

All of a sudden, the actor emerges with a wicked smile, seeming to grip the automobile’s trunk as his head rises into view.

As I stand there, sporting my laid-back Hawaiian attire and my hair styled in a casual sweep, I can’t help but grin as Leahy, whirling around in panic, emits a blood-curdling shriek. In an instant, her pastel blue vehicle spirals out of control, somersaulting gracefully into the air.

Could it possibly allude to claims that Hammer harbored cannibalistic desires, the scene later shows animated, humorous depictions of dismembered limbs spinning through the air following the car crash.

In his part, the actor from The Social Network momentarily mimics Leahy’s singing, followed by a quick change to a surprised look as she seems to lose command over the vehicle.

Although it might not be immediately clear, Deadline speculates that Leahy and Hammer could be linked through the video’s director, Jerry Brunskill. This is because Brunskill is a close friend of Hammer’s and also works as a producer for Hammer’s latest podcast, HammerTime.

Leahy gained recognition as a participant on The Bachelor UK and a semifinalist in singing competitions on Britain’s Got Talent. Lately, however, her focus has shifted towards television projects.

In recent times, I’ve had the pleasure of voicing the character Stella in the animated series Helluva Boss on FXX, and I’m proud to add co-producer to my credits for the biographical drama film Bosco. This movie made its debut on Peacock in February.

In October, it was announced that Hammer would return to filmmaking, taking on his initial role since his expulsion from Hollywood in 2021.

He shared on-set photos from the upcoming Western Frontier Crucible to his Instagram account.

In this movie, Thomas Jane takes on the main role, with Travis Mills at the helm as director. The script was developed from Harry Whittington’s 1961 book titled “Desert Stake-Out.

The movie, likened to a blend of “Reservoir Dogs” and “Bone Tomahawk,” unfolds in the 1870s Arizona Territory. A soldier with a sorrowful history is compelled to team up with three lawless outlaws, along with a captivating woman and her wounded spouse, as they struggle to endure the harsh frontier conditions.

Although numerous women have accused him of sexual assault and abuse, which ultimately led to his professional downfall, Hammer has not been convicted of any criminal charges in these matters, and he firmly denies the allegations against him.

In the previous year, they finalized their divorce settlement following their separation in 2020 with Elizabeth Chambers.
