As a player, I’m really excited about the variety in this game! Right now, there are 23 characters to choose from. And it’s not just about the characters, the combat system is cool too. You can do damage with seven different elements – Physical, Arts, Aether, Heat, Electricity, Cryo, and Nature. Plus, there are six different classes to play as: Caster, Defender, Guard, Supporter, Striker, and Vanguard. It seems like there’s a playstyle for everyone!
Okay, so as someone who plays a lot, I’ve learned that picking the right Operator is HUGE for building a winning team. Whether I’m grinding through Umbral Monument or just powering through the story, knowing which Operators are best for each role really helps me dominate every game mode and keep my factory running smoothly. Best Main DPS in Arknights: Endfield – Laevatain
Laevatain is a powerful 6-Star Operator who fights with a sword. Classified as a Striker, she utilizes the Heat element in battle. What makes her stand out is that she’s fully capable as a damage dealer right away – she’s a complete DPS package the moment you add her to your team.
Her greatest asset is her Ultimate ability, which deals consistent and significant area-of-effect damage. With enough damage output, her Ultimate can even continue affecting enemies between waves. Currently, she’s one of the most effective characters for quickly defeating large groups of enemies.
Best Support DPS in Arknights: Endfield – Pogranichnik
Pogranichnik is a powerful 6-star Operator who fights with a sword and is classified as a Vanguard. Despite being a standard 6-star unit, he’s currently considered essential for building effective Physical teams, and this is likely to remain true for quite some time.
This character significantly weakens enemies’ physical defense by up to 20% for a long 30 seconds. He also generates a lot of SP and has a powerful ultimate ability that’s excellent for quickly overcoming challenges. Because of these strengths, he’s a valuable addition to any team.

Ember is a powerful 6-star character who fights with a Greatsword and specializes as a Defender. She utilizes the Heat element and is currently considered the best defender and tank in the game. Ember offers a wide range of benefits, including strong resistance to interruption, damage reduction, healing, shielding, and the ability to weaken enemies by applying Vulnerability stacks.
