ARK: Survival Ascended Free ‘Extinction Ascended’ and Third and Final Chapter in ‘Bob’s Tall Tales’ Out Now

As a seasoned Ark: Survival Ascended player who’s spent countless hours taming dinosaurs and surviving on various alien landscapes, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nostalgia upon hearing about Studio Wildcard’s latest content drops. The Extinction Ascended update, with its epic finale back on Earth, promises to test my survival skills against colossal Titans, including the fearsome Dreadnoughtus. And let’s not forget Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland Wars, where I’ll be cruising through desolate wastelands in a Battlerig, leaving a trail of destruction in my wake. The new weapons, structures, and character cosmetics are just the icing on the cake!

Today, Developer Studio Wildcard has rolled out two substantial updates for the game “ARK: Survival Evolved”. These updates are named Extinction Ascended and Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland Wars. Extinction Ascended introduces a new map called Extinction, which brings survivors back to Earth for an epic conclusion, while Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland Wars marks the conclusion of the Bob’s Tall Tales series.

In the free Extinction Ascended expansion, you’ll need to defeat towering Titans that rule the planet, including the latest addition, Dreadnoughtus. You’ll encounter fresh creatures to train, unique items for your inventory, and thrilling adventures, all while in Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland War, where Bob, played by Karl Urban, reprises his role to guide you through a new storyline.

In the game called Wasteland War, you’ll embark on an adventure through barren wastelands using a Battlerig vehicle. As you travel, you’ll cause damage everywhere you go. To assist you in unearthing ‘Tek Item Traits’, you can tame faithful Armadoggo companions. Additionally, new weaponry has been introduced such as the Explosive Spear and Extinguisher Grenade, as well as fresh Wasteland Skins and Tile Sets.

In addition to unique structures such as Bladewasp Hive, Bio-Grinder, Lighting Facilities, Temporary Lab, Skyscraper, BattleRig Garage, over a dozen fresh character cosmetics are also featured. For a detailed glimpse of the latest expansions and content, check out the trailer below.

The Expansion Packs “Extinction Ascended” and “Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland Wars” have just been released for the game “ARK: Survival Ascended” on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers (PC).
