ARIAs after party event wrap

As a huge fan of Aussie music, I was so excited to hear that all the biggest stars were at the Patrón ARIA Awards afterparty! It was at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Wednesday, and it sounded like the place was absolutely packed with everyone who’s anyone in the industry.

The night’s biggest winners, including the bands Amyl and the Sniffers and Adam Hyde (also known as Keli Holiday), gathered at the Mexican-themed party.

DJ Into the Marshes provided the music for the event, and many of the VIP guests enjoyed drinks from the cocktail bar.

Musician G Flip and her wife, Chrishell Stause of the reality show Selling Sunset, were seen out celebrating after the ARIA Awards.

Cody Simpson attended the event with his girlfriend, Olympic swimmer Emma McKeon, who turned heads in a sleek black suit.

Vera Blue, a past ARIA award winner and folk musician, was spotted chatting with pop singer Kita Alexander, who showed her admiration for Kylie Minogue by wearing a ‘Padam Padam’ T-shirt.

House music DJ Dom Dolla (Dominic Louis Matheson) was spotted chatting with Georgie Tunny from Channel 10. He recently won an ARIA Award for Best Dance/Electronic release for his song ‘Dreamin’.’

Nina Wilson, known as Ninajirachi, celebrated winning the ARIA award for Best Solo Artist at the event. She stood out with her bold style, wearing a leather jumpsuit and fishnet stockings.

Oliver Cronin, who both produces and performs, looked sharp in an outfit inspired by the 1980s, featuring a military-style jacket and sparkly, loose-fitting pants. Singer Charley Castle turned heads in a sleek black bodysuit that showed off her legs.

I was so excited to spot Thelma Plum at the after-party – she’s such an incredible Indigenous artist! It was great to see Nova’s Tim Blackwell there too, and I’m a big fan of Touch Sensitive, or Michael Di Francesco as some know him, so that was a real treat.

Baker Boy, the rapper, stood out at the afterparty with a stylish look – a satin dress shirt and loose-fitting blue pants.

Singer-songwriter Boy Soda struck a pose on the photo wall, wearing a printed top and coordinating pants.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Bre Tiesi from Selling Sunset looked absolutely incredible! She wore this amazing, super-cute little dress – it was sleeveless and fit her like a glove. Seriously, she just dazzled everyone. I can’t stop thinking about it!

She was then photographed with Australian model Ellie Gonsalves, who was wearing a very similar red dress.

Evelyn Ellis from Married At First Sight was spotted getting close to Duncan James at the show’s afterparty. He looked sharp in a dark suit and black t-shirt.

Evelyn showed off her curves in a plunging sleeveless ‘Betty Boop’ dress.

I spotted Bella Varelis, from The Bachelor, at the music festival! She was looking great and even posed for some photos with influencer Josh Carroll – they seemed to be having a good time.

Bella looked stunning in a shimmering white cocktail dress. Josh, meanwhile, opted for a black suit worn with a revealing T-shirt that highlighted his chest.

Producer Violet Grace looked stunning in a lemon-coloured spangled shorty frock.

Ninajirachi, a rising star in the music scene, was the big surprise at this year’s ARIAs, earning an impressive eight nominations – including Album of the Year and Best Solo Artist.

I’m completely blown away by this artist! She’s a self-taught producer, and unbelievably, she’s only 26! Her first album, ‘I Love My Computer,’ just came out a few months ago, and it’s already become a favorite of mine. It’s incredible what she’s accomplished so early in her career.

She won three awards: best solo artist, best independent release, and the Michael Gudinski Award recognizing her as a breakthrough artist.

As a music lover, I was so thrilled to see Ninajirachi take home the Best Solo award! It was a seriously competitive category – she beat out incredible artists like Kylie Minogue, Mallrat, The Kid LAROI, Young Franco, Dom Dolla, Missy Higgins, Thelma Plum, and BARKAA. What a win for rising talent!

Amyl and The Sniffers took home Album of the Year, triumphing over nominees like Thelma Plum, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Missy Higgins.

Abbie Chatfield’s partner, Keli Holiday (also known as Adam Hyde), won the Best Video award at this year’s ceremony for his song, Dancing2.

He wrote the popular song about his girlfriend, Abbie, a TV personality in Australia. She was thrilled and proud when he was nominated for an award in 2025.

Amyl and The Sniffers were named Best Group, beating out Folk Bitch Trio, Hilltop Hoods, Royel Otis, and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

The biggest award of the night, Song of the Year, features some popular songs you’ve probably heard, including “With You” by Dean Lewis, “Dreamin'” by Dom Dolla and Daya, and “Linger” by Royel Otis.

But it was The Kid LAROI’s Girls who took home the gong.
