The musical adaptation, helmed by Jon M. Chu who previously directed Crazy Rich Asians, serves as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz from 1939. It delves into the heartwarming bond between the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch prior to Dorothy’s arrival.
Recently, Slater publicly spoke about his relationship with the 7 Rings artist at the LA premiere of Wicked just a few days earlier.
He emphasized the benefits of collaborating on the musical film with his high-profile girlfriend of more than a year, praising her abilities.
