Ariana Grande, who rarely discusses politics, spoke out on Sunday to her large social media audience of over 523 million followers.
The pop star, 32, who previously voted for Kamala Harris in 2024 and Bernie Sanders in 2020, questioned supporters of President Donald Trump – particularly those who identify with the MAGA movement – about whether they felt their lives had improved in the first eight months of his second term.
‘It’s been 250 days,’ Ariana Instastoried A Bit Fruity podcaster Matt Bernstein’s post.
With families separated at the border through harsh policies, and transgender individuals facing blame and living in fear, at a time when open discussion feels increasingly threatened – has your life actually improved?
The post then asked: Are groceries more affordable now? Has health insurance become cheaper? Are you finding a better balance between work and personal life? Can you finally afford a vacation? Are you happier overall? And has the hardship others have faced actually benefited you like he said it would, or are you still waiting for those promised improvements?
The post from the former child star, who was born in Florida, appeared three months after Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that the 79-year-old Republican politician should be impeached for a third time. Ocasio-Cortez criticized his decision to bomb Iran without getting approval first, calling it a ‘disastrous’ move.

Ariana is a public advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, as well as the rights of Palestinians and access to reproductive healthcare. She also encourages people to register and vote.
Ten years ago, a TMZ video surfaced of Ariana Grande (born Butera) saying ‘I hate Americans. I hate America’ while secretly licking several donuts at a Wolfee Donuts shop in Lake Elsinore, California.
The Academy Award-nominated actress is returning to play Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, in the upcoming movie *Wicked: For Good*. Directed by Jon M. Chu with a $150 million budget, the film will be released in the US and UK on November 21st.
I’m so excited for the movie version of the show! And the best part? So many of the original Broadway cast are returning! I’ll get to see Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang, Marissa Bode, and even Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum again on the big screen. Plus, Ariana Grande’s boyfriend, Ethan Slater, is involved too, which is fantastic!
The first fantasy flick received critical acclaim and amassed $756.4M at the global box office.
Ariana Grande and her boyfriend, a 33-year-old Tony Award nominee, haven’t been seen together publicly since April 26th. They were last photographed supporting Grande’s former co-star, Liz Gillies, at a performance of the off-Broadway musical *Little Shop of Horrors* in New York City. They never officially confirmed their relationship with a red carpet appearance.
The Grammy-winning artist and Ethan reportedly began a romantic relationship while filming the movie *Wicked* in London between December 2022 and July 2023.
News of Ariana and Slater’s relationship quickly sparked controversy. Slater was separated from his wife, Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a three-year-old son, Ezra, and she was reportedly heartbroken. Their divorce became final in September 2023.
I honestly never imagined I’d get divorced, particularly so soon after having my first baby and while my husband was having an affair with a famous person,” a 30-year-old psychologist shared in an article for The Cut last December.

I bravely relocated to a new country with my husband and our two-month-old baby to help advance his career. Lost in the joys and challenges of being a new mother, I didn’t realize we were growing apart.
As a lot of you know, my relationship with Pete Davidson didn’t work out – we were engaged briefly back in 2019. More recently, I went through a divorce from my husband, Dalton Gomez, which was finalized last October after just over a year and a half of marriage. It’s been a period of change, and I’m focusing on moving forward.
The SESAC Songwriter of the Year, who has over 80 million monthly listeners on Spotify, begins her 41-city ‘The Eternal Sunshine Tour’ on June 6th at the Oakland Arena in California.
