On a Wednesday, the 37-year-old actress shared a single piece of fan art on Instagram, describing it as ‘the most outlandishly offensive thing I’ve ever encountered.’

She continued: ‘None of this is funny. None of it is cute. It degrades me. It degrades us.

In both the stage adaptation of Wicked and various fan drawings, Elphaba is depicted wearing a hat that covers her eyes and nose, and she sports a sly grin adorned with vibrant red lipstick.

Ariana posted the authentic design of the poster onto her Instagram Stories and couldn’t help but express her enthusiasm for her fellow actor, who only needs an Academy Award to achieve EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) status.
