Ariana Grande doubles the length of her residency in London next summer following huge demand for shows – after responding to upset fans

Due to overwhelming fan demand, Ariana Grande has extended her London residency next summer, adding more shows to her schedule.

The 32-year-old singer-songwriter will perform at London’s O2 Arena in August and September next year. These are her only European tour dates for the Eternal Sunshine tour.

Tickets for the concerts went on sale Tuesday with a special presale event, and demand was incredibly high – over two million people attempted to purchase them, resulting in a complete sell-out.

Because tickets are selling so quickly, she’s added five extra London shows to her tour, bringing the total to ten performances at the famous venue.

She will now perform on August 15, 16, 19, 20, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 31, as well as September 1.

It will be her first shows in the UK since 2019.

This follows the artist’s statement last week that she was upset after her tour quickly sold out, with tickets immediately appearing on resale markets at significantly inflated prices.

She used Instagram to reassure her fans, explaining that she’s working hard to find a way for them to be able to go to her tour, which is scheduled for 2026.

This happened after many fans expressed frustration online about not being able to buy tickets during both the presale and the main sale.

Tickets for many of Ariana Grande’s concerts are being resold for more than ten times their original price by some retailers. Despite a busy week of filming, Grande says she’s been working tirelessly to address the issue, spending every available moment on the phone trying to find solutions.

On Saturday morning, she posted a message saying she’d been busy filming all week, but wanted to address concerns about people reselling tickets for profit.

The singer, who many believe has either broken up with or is about to split from her boyfriend and co-star Ethan Slater, also said she’s very upset by everything.

The artist behind ‘Supernatural’ explained that they’ve been working constantly to find a fix, saying, ‘I’ve been on the phone non-stop trying to get this resolved. I understand your frustration, and I’m hoping we can get more tickets to you instead of letting them go elsewhere. It just doesn’t feel fair.’

She assured her fans that she and her team ‘are doing everything we can.’

She wanted to let everyone know that her team is aware of the situation and that she deeply cares. They are working hard to address it and she expressed her love and gratitude for everyone’s patience and understanding.

Pre-sale tickets for her “The Eternal Sunshine Tour,” promoting her new album of the same name, became available in the US on Tuesday, September 9th.

Fans were thrilled about her upcoming roadshow, as it had been over five years since her last tour – the Sweetener World Tour in 2019.

Ariana Grande chose to keep ticket prices consistent for her concerts. Instead of changing prices based on demand, she set them in advance, ranging from $79 for the least expensive seats to $799, not including any special VIP packages.

Even though many fans used Ticketmaster, tickets are now sold out there, and people are having to look at resale markets. These resale tickets are being offered by other companies at significantly inflated prices.

Ariana Grande revealed late last month that she’s planning a tour for her album, which came out in February 2024.

After winning the Best Pop award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards thanks to her album, *Eternal Sunshine*, she shared a personal message with her fans about her upcoming concerts.

Her single Brighter Days Ahead also took home Video of the Year.

In her acceptance speech, she warmly thanked her devoted fans for their love and support, and hinted at upcoming concerts, saying, ‘We’ll see you on tour!’

Things are really heating up for this actress! With the premiere of her new movie, *Wicked: For Good*, scheduled for November 21st, her career is definitely taking off. It’s an exciting time, and I’m loving watching her shine!

She will also be acting alongside Josh Gad in the upcoming film adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s *Oh, the Places You’ll Go!*, directed by Jon M. Chu, who is known for *Wicked*.
