With a captivating performance, I kicked off the event with a heartfelt and energetic rendition of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers, setting the tone for an unforgettable gathering.

Wearing a kilt, the actor received high praise from BBC viewers for his “courageous” and “outstanding” performance, as he dramatically entered the auditorium.

David stated: ‘Tonight, we have the pleasure of hosting the second-place finisher from New York’s recent Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest. Welcome to the BAFTAs! You certainly bear a striking resemblance, don’t you? How much time are you spending in London?’

Timothée replied: ‘Three days’.

David playfully remarked: “Your voice needs some work, it’s not quite there yet, but your attention to detail is impressive – you really resemble Kylie Jenner.

At the 2025 BAFTA Awards ceremony, Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody were crowned as Best Actress and Best Actor respectively. Meanwhile, both “Conclave” and “The Brutalist” films garnered four awards each, making them the frontrunners of the event.

At the ceremony, Adrien, aged 51, and Mikey, 25, both received accolades for their outstanding performances – Adrien in The Brutalist and Mikey in Anora, an independent film. They graciously stepped onto the stage to accept their awards.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast from across the pond, I couldn’t contain my excitement as the grandest British film spectacle made its triumphant return! None other than the legendary David Tennant graced us with his presence as our host, adding an extra dash of magic to the evening. A slew of esteemed guest presenters were also on hand, ready to shower recognition upon the most deserving talents throughout the enchanting night.

In the face of ten other nominees, the film “Conclave” triumphed in the exceptional category of the Outstanding British Film Award at the BAFTAs, thereby earning an additional accolade for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing, making it their third win.

In a remarkable turn of events, “The Brutalist” garnered four prestigious accolades: Adrien clinched Best Actor, Brady Corbet received a much-deserved Best Director award, the title for Best Cinematography also went to our production, and lastly, we were honored with Best Original Score.

At the BAFTA ceremony, Warwick Davis touched hearts when he delivered a moving eulogy for his deceased wife, Samantha David, during his heartfelt acceptance speech after receiving the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship.
