Fans are playfully reacting to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo after they shared another memorable moment while promoting their upcoming film, Wicked.

Okay, so I was at the Parisian premiere of ‘Wicked: For Good’ on Friday, and it was such a fun night! Elle magazine had a journalist on the carpet who asked both me and the incredibly talented actress, who’s received an Oscar nomination, to describe each other’s ‘auras.’ It was a really interesting question, and we had a great time thinking about it!

Ariana said Cynthia’s was ‘yellow,’ like ‘sunshine.’ She added, ‘I think there’s also purple.’

Cynthia described Ariana’s coloring, saying it reminded her of a clear, sky blue, like aqua, and the warm tones of a sunset.

The actors, who became friends while working together, are currently busy promoting the upcoming sequel to last year’s hit movie, Wicked. They’re getting a lot of attention again for their lively and energetic connection during interviews.

After the red carpet photos, someone posted on Reddit, ‘I can’t relive that again,’ recalling the awkward publicity events the movie stars had last year.

Someone else on Reddit jokingly used typical therapy language, saying, ‘Are we all holding space for them? Did that sound right?’

And one person observed, ‘It seems like they’ve toned it down compared to last year, and wisely so.

Honestly, if they’d gone hard with the marketing again like they did last year, I think it would’ve really rubbed people the wrong way. It might’ve even made some fans lose interest in seeing the new movie, and that thought kills me! I just hope they’ve learned their lesson and won’t overdo it this time.

There was also someone who inserted, ‘They’re sweet and all but this annoys tf out of me.’ 

Contrarily, another social media user added to the thread, ‘They r so funny honestly.’

It prompted someone else to share, ‘I died laughing when Cynthia said “ciel blue.”‘

No_Barracuda8791 commented, ‘They’re really annoying, but I find it hilarious. As long as nobody’s getting hurt, I think it’s just funny.’

In the short video, first shared by Elle Germany on YouTube, the famous actors enthusiastically responded to a question from the interviewer.

Ariana admitted they hadn’t received that question before, and Cynthia enthusiastically agreed, calling it a fantastic one.

A particularly touching moment from last year’s interview with Ariana Grande and Cynthia occurred when Ariana held Cynthia’s finger—which had a beautifully painted green nail—during an emotional exchange.

Journalist Tracy E. Gilchrist shared with Cynthia that she’d noticed people online talking about the powerful emotions they experience while listening to ‘Defying Gravity,’ the song Cynthia performs in the film.

Cynthia was clearly touched by the news, responding with, ‘I had no idea, that’s amazing. It’s exactly what I was hoping for.’

It was so touching to watch Ariana get emotional while speaking, and then instinctively reach for her co-star’s finger – it felt like a really sweet moment of support. Honestly, it was a little heartbreaking, but the internet, being the internet, quickly turned it into a meme. It didn’t diminish the sincerity of the gesture for me, though!
