The video was taken while she studied at Broadway Artists Alliance, an institution that offers expert coaching to budding musical theater talents right in New York City.

The post, divided by a snippet from the fresh blockbuster film version of the Broadway play, had this ‘Even at 14, @arianagrande was envisioning Oz, as if she was destined to sing The Wizard and I.’

Skip ahead by 17 years, finding herself at 31, she’s been cast as Glinda in the Wicked film, gracefully navigating Defying Gravity alongside Cynthia Erivo. What a transformation, fit for the radiance of the Emerald City!

During his latest stint on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, he couldn’t help but refer to a tweet that Ariana posted back in December 2011.

I had the pleasure of watching Wicked once more over the weekend, and let me tell you, that production was nothing short of breathtaking!
