Arena in LoL Season 1: When does Arena go live in 2025?

Excited for Arena? Find out when it goes live here.

In the League of Legends game, the team battle mode known as Arena, which is played with 2 versus 2 teams, has been absent for a while now. Fortunately, this exciting mode is set to return soon! Keep an eye on its release date during Season 1 here.

In this upcoming session at Arena, you’ll notice a Noxus theme, accompanied by a fresh map, revised advancement mechanisms, and an update to the Cameo system. For comprehensive details on these adjustments, be sure to check out the article provided.

When does Arena go live for its 2025 run?

On March 4, 2025, the much-adored gameplay mode is set to resurface as part of League of Legends (LoL) Patch 25.S1.5. However, the specific hour it becomes active varies depending on each geographical location.

As a gamer hailing from the OCE, JP, NA, LAN, LAS, BR, KR, VN, TW, PH, TH, or SG regions, I’m all set to jump into the arena at 19:00 UTC! Let the games begin!

EUW, EUN, RU, and TR players will get Arena a little earlier, on 16:00 UTC.

Arena will be live until LoL Patch 25.S2.1 goes live on April 30, 2025.

League of Legends game modes

In contrast to last year, this year’s Arena run is significantly shorter. Last year, Arena was launched at the start of May 2024 and continued throughout the entire Split, which was roughly a few months. This year, however, it will be activated during Act 2 and will end when Season 1 concludes. Consequently, we’ll have approximately seven weeks to enjoy this game mode.

For those who frequently switch between League of Legends game modes, there’s no need to fret. Developers are consistently working to provide fresh and unique experiences with each update, offering both new game modes like Swarm and updates to existing ones, such as the recent Arena changes. They’re also hinting at more surprises to come, although specific details about these new additions are currently under wraps.
