Fall (2022)

As a fellow enthusiast of chilling tales, I must confess that “Fall” isn’t strictly categorized as a horror movie. However, given its gripping narrative and eerie undertones, it’s definitely a watch worth considering for us horror aficionados. It’s more accurately described as a heart-pounding survival thriller. After the devastating loss of her husband in a mountain climbing mishap, our protagonist Becky spirals into alcoholism and seclusion.

Approaching the anniversary of her late spouse’s demise, she receives an invitation from her longtime friend Hunter for a thrilling mountaineering expedition. This expedition calls for scaling a colossal, deserted radio tower that stands 2,000 feet tall, offering her the chance to disperse her departed husband’s remains. Regrettably, things take a turn for the worse as the ladder meant for descent malfunctions, leaving them suspended at the summit with no way down.

Goosebumps: The Vanishing (2025)

Title of the second season for the horror anthology series “Goosebumps” is “Goosebumps: The Vanishing”. In this story, fraternal twins Devin and Cece Brewer are spending their summer with their divorced father. As they settle in, they uncover a looming danger and soon find that there are ominous secrets lurking among them. As they delve further into the mystery, they, along with their companions, get entangled in the enigma of four teenagers who vanished in 1994.

Arcadian (2024)

Starring Academy Award-winner Nicolas Cage as a frantic father, this film features him battling to safeguard his twin boys amidst a post-apocalyptic landscape teeming with terrifying beasts. Furthermore, Jaeden Martell and Maxwell Jenkins portray the actor’s onscreen sons in the horror flick.

Humane (2024)

As a fervent admirer, let me share my thoughts on this chilling tale that unfolds amidst a catastrophic global ecological collapse. World leaders, in response, enact extreme policies aimed at reducing Earth’s population. One of these measures is a compulsory euthanasia program. The protagonist, Charles York, a former newscaster, chooses to partake in this program voluntarily. He convenes his loved ones for a family dinner to disclose his decision, but events take an unexpected turn.
