ARC Raiders: Stable Housing Quest Guide

The recent Shrouded Sky update for ARC Raiders introduces a new quest called “Stable Housing,” along with others like “Keeping An Eye Out.” These quests continue the game’s ongoing story as a hurricane impacts the new map, the Rust Belt.

To get the “Stable Housing” quest from Tian Wen, you’ll need to travel to Stella Montis. Be aware that Stella Montis is a popular spot for player-versus-player combat, so it might be challenging if you frequently encounter aggressive players in ARC Raiders. It’s best to avoid using a basic loadout for this quest, as it involves bringing an item back to Speranza, and having a secure inventory will make that much easier.

Where To Find The Security Bridge In Stella Montis

In the “Stable Housing” mission, your first goal is to find the Security Bridge inside Stella Montis. It’s located within the Lobby – a place with a decent amount of loot – and specifically runs across the third floor. If you’re having trouble finding your way around Stella Montis, it’s a good idea to set a ping on your map for general direction. Then, follow the signs within the game itself. As you get closer, look for doorways marked with “Lobby” to guide you.

How To Find & Open The Safe

You’ll then need to find and open a safe, which requires several steps. The safe is located in a room close to the east side of the Security Bridge, near a wall with a large number 3 painted on it – this marks the third floor. The safe is on a desk in the back right corner of the room; you can see what it looks like in the second picture above. However, it’s locked, so you’ll need to find an access card to open it.

The access card printer is on the fourth floor, right above the safe. Just take the stairs up and follow them around – you’ll find the printer on a desk (as shown in the picture). However, when you try to use it, you’ll discover it isn’t working correctly and won’t give you an access card.

There’s another way to get into the safe: go back down the stairs to the third-floor room where it is. Once inside, look for a bulletin board covered in papers right near the doorway. Clicking on the board will reveal the code you need. Then, turn around and click on the safe again to open it.

Out will pop an item called Project Heartwood Blueprints, which you’ll need to bring to Tian Wen. If you’re worried about having to go through all that rigamarole again, definitely stick those blueprints in your safe pocket. That way, the quest item will make it safely back to Speranza, regardless if you manage to do the same. Collecting your reward from Tian Wen is the last step in completing the new ARC Raiders quest, “Stable Housing.”
