Arabella Chi Pregnant and Finding ‘The One’ After Love Island
Arabella Chi shared that she’s long aspired to become a mother, as she chatted about discovering her ideal partner in her boyfriend Billy Henty.
Presently, the ex-Love Island contestant, aged 33, is anticipating her initial baby with Billy. This joyous event is scheduled for May, following their announcement of a relationship back in October.
Arabella acknowledged that the pair promptly started living together following their introduction by mutual acquaintances.
Previously, she had connections with the Premier League footballer Ruben Dias, Leonardo DiCaprio’s close friend Richie Akiva, and French rugby player Yoann Huget.
Despite returning to the Love Island Villa in January 2024, Arabella continued her luckless journey in love – that is, until she encountered Billy.
In her conversation with TopMob during the interview about her pregnancy, she expressed great joy and stated that it’s a true blessing, adding that she is incredibly excited.
She went on to say: ‘I wasn’t taken aback, as I’ve long desired motherhood. In fact, we’ve been brainstorming potential names, so our enthusiasm is high.’
In the course of discussing her birth plan, Arabella added: ‘It’s not something that women generally look forward to, as I understand it can be quite uncomfortable, yet it is an integral aspect of being female.’
From a lifestyle perspective, I find it truly awe-inspiring to witness the incredible capabilities of the human body. As I embark on this journey, I’m choosing to face each step with resilience and determination. Knowing that at the end of this labor, I will welcome a beautiful new addition to my life, a precious daughter, makes every effort worthwhile.
In other places, Arabella shared some insights about her relationship with Billy and revealed her aspirations for getting married.
‘I met him through mutual friends, so it was a really nice meeting,’ she explained.
On a particular evening, we simply went out for some drinks, and there he was. Initially, I found myself thinking, “Wow, what an extraordinary individual!” Little did I know that he would turn out to be my soulmate.
It’s wonderful that he isn’t part of the entertainment industry. My folks had the pleasure of meeting him, and they adore him; he fits all the criteria – he’s simply fantastic!
Instead of moving in separately first, we decided to live together right away. Now, we’re merely anticipating the arrival of our baby. When it comes to recognizing something or someone, instinct often tells us ‘when you know, you know!’
The television host shared: “Of course, marrying is many girls’ aspiration. I have my child now, and we aren’t in a hurry. In the end, we’re simply handling one matter at a time.
After making two appearances on the ITV2 dating show, Arabella chose to swap the confusion of the villa for a life with Billy and their forthcoming baby.
Initially, she gained widespread recognition when she participated in the 2019 season of a popular TV series. However, her journey ended prematurely as she was removed from the island only seven days into the show, ultimately finding herself single.
2024 saw Arabella making another attempt, this time joining the All-Stars version. Here, she made an explosive entrance, becoming known as a surprise addition or wildcard contestant.
While she did spark up a romance with fellow islander Adam Maxted, once again, it was not to last.
She mentioned that she’s had bad luck in relationships. She believed she found “the one” with some individuals, only to realize later that it was a lesson she needed to learn.
However, she later discovered love, and it was made official when Arabella announced her relationship in October, having met through Kady McDermott’s boyfriend, Henry Simmons, who is a contestant on Love Island.
In December, she then announced that she and Billy are expecting their first child together.
She raved about her boyfriend: “I never thought I’d meet a man who fits me so perfectly, we’re almost identical, he’s amazing beyond belief. I feel incredibly fortunate. It seems when you know, you just know, and that’s exactly how it felt with Billy.
He’ll make an outstanding father to a little girl, she’ll likely consider him her very own prince. Given his affection for our dog Astro, I’m confident he’ll find the baby equally endearing, perhaps even tenfold adorable.
She shared that they aren’t rushing into an engagement as of now, instead choosing to take things slowly and focus on their new baby and enjoying this moment in their lives.
In my perspective, I’m adapting day by day, staying strong and positive. I find myself in an excellent position, eagerly anticipating the arrival of our little one.
