April Rose Pengilly Shows Off Her Massive Engagement Ring at the Easter Show!

At the Sydney Royal Easter Show last Sunday, April Rose Pengilly proudly displayed her large diamond engagement ring, hinting that her wedding is soon approaching.

The 37-year-old announced her engagement to her fiancé Adam Paul in December 2023. 

On Monday, the actress from Neighbours posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram, cleverly placing her large diamond ring in the camera’s sight while enjoying a glass of fresh lemonade next to Adam.

Under the title of ‘Favorite Day of the Year,’ the petite blonde labeled an extended collection of clips from her day trip to Sydney Olympic Park.

In a leopard-spotted sundress, some white sneakers, and a Fendi bag in shades of brown and black, April was dressed.

Instead of piling on numerous accessories, she opted for a simple look, complementing it with a large pair of Banbee sunglasses and delicate earrings.

The couple had been together for just under two years when Adam popped the question. 

Present at the festivities was Kirk Pengilly, April’s father and a multi-instrumentalist known for his work as the vocalist, saxophonist, and guitarist of INXS, who is now 65 years old.

In another snapshot, the overjoyed father planted a kiss on his daughter’s cheek while they both smiled delightfully near a breathtaking body of water.

The star was joined by her mom, Karen Hutchinson, forming a threesome that shared heartwarming hugs for some delightful pictures.

So far, there hasn’t been much information about the upcoming wedding, as April mentioned last month that shopping for her wedding outfit was more important than organizing the wedding details at that time.

‘Starting to look for my future groom’s suit,’ she captioned an Instagram post in March. 

‘Honestly we’re doing a lot more outfit shopping than wedding planning. Priorities innit.’

Three weeks ago, April began her ‘bridal skincare journey.’ 

She’s having a set of skin care procedures before her wedding at Jacqueline Brennan, such as radio frequency microneedling for collagen restructuring.

She playfully hinted in March that the work on her wedding dresses had commenced, posting a photo featuring three wedding gowns hanging on coat racks.

Her mum attended the fitting. 

In July 2022, April paid tribute to Adam on the couple’s six month anniversary. 

‘Six months. He is so kind, clever, fun, funny, silly, caring and thoughtful.’ she wrote. 

This year has been incredibly challenging and tumultuous for me, yet he’s been an unwavering presence, assisting me, providing support, and making me feel like royalty throughout.

Occasionally, I can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude and regret – grateful for having such an exceptional partner, and regretful that others aren’t able to share in that joy. But let’s celebrate our anniversary, as we cherish each other every day!
