Apple Arcade expands its roster with EA’s MySims and MySims Kingdom, arriving on November 6

Story Highlights

  • MySims is a spin-off of Maxis’s popular The Sims franchise.
  • MySims Kingdom, a casual adventure sim and follow-up to MySims, is arriving with fan-favorite triceratops Bobaboo and more.

Apple Arcade is getting two classic games from Electronic Arts: MySims and MySims Kingdom. Both of these updated versions, featuring improved graphics, will be available to play starting November 6th.

Get ready to help Mayor Rosalyn build a charming town teeming with happy residents

Get ready for a new adventure with MySims! In this game, you’ll help Mayor Rosalyn create a wonderful town for everyone who lives there. As a popular spin-off of the well-known The Sims franchise by Maxis, MySims is already a fan favorite and doesn’t really need an introduction.

In this game, you get to design and build your own town exactly how you want it. You can craft furniture, find plans for new buildings and even design your dream home. Giving your town a name and watching it grow feels special, and you’ll meet lots of interesting characters along the way, including popular faces like Chef Gino and DJ Candy.

While exploring this expanding town, you’ll discover unique decorations and designs, chat with residents, and find helpful and unexpected items hidden everywhere. This updated version seems very promising, offering touch controls, improved graphics, customization options, and other enhancements.

MySims Kingdom is coming to Apple Arcade! This new game is a relaxed adventure where you continue the MySims story. You’ll work with King Roland and the people of his kingdom to bring it back to life. Along the way, you can team up with friends, explore magical places, and complete fun challenges.

You start by gathering Mana, a magical energy, which you use to craft items, furniture, and building pieces for different areas of the island. As you play, you’ll unlock more things to build, new colors, and recipes that give you special abilities. Along the way, you can also listen to stories from the islanders to learn the secrets of the land.

I’m really excited to finally try this MySims game, as I haven’t played this particular one before. As someone who loves animals, I’m especially happy it features a variety of creatures, including the popular triceratops named Bobaboo, which adds new ways to explore the different islands.

MySims and MySims Kingdom will be available on Apple Arcade starting November 6th. You can also purchase both games together for PC. If you don’t already have Apple Arcade, a subscription costs $6.99 a month, and a one-month free trial is available.
