Apex Space Hunt event adds new Universal Heirloom to the game
As a seasoned Apex Legends player with countless victories under my belt and a collection that rivals even the best loot hounds, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement when I heard about the upcoming Space Hunt event! The new Universal Heirloom, Serpents Sting, is just the icing on the cake. It’s not every day you get a chance to add another legendary piece to your arsenal. And with its unique kill counter feature, it’s bound to turn heads during my next epic wins!
New cosmetics, a new Universal Heirloom and a new LTM.
During the Apex Space Hunt event, which commences on September 17 and concludes on October 8th, a brand-new artifact from across the universe will be introduced into the game. This exciting event includes special cosmetics themed around it, a fresh Limited Time Mode (LTM), and challenges to unlock characters Crypto and Wattson at no cost.
Here’s everything to expect when the Space Hunt comes to Apex Legends.
New Universal Heirloom coming to Apex
The new Apex Universal Heirloom is called Serpents Sting. It joins the Cobalt Katar and the Buster Sword as the games only Universal Heirlooms.
Every time an event like this rolls around, I can only get my hands on the Heirloom by snagging a Space Hunt Event Pack. Once I’ve claimed all the limited-time goodies during the event, the Serpent’s Sting is automatically mine!
After that, you can buy extra customizations that any Legend can use, like the “Crimson Ripper” holographic Kill Counter. As you eliminate opponents in a game, red holographic triangles will accumulate on the “Serpent’s Sting”, reaching a maximum of 5 kills and resetting at the start of each match. For those who claim the prestigious position of Kill Leader, they’ll be adorned with a special crown hologram at the top as long as they maintain this title.
Apex Space Hunt Reward Shop and cosmetics
During the Apex Space Hunt event, a total of 36 fresh and exclusive cosmetic items will be available for a limited time. Accumulating any Space Hunt item throughout the event triggers progress towards extra rewards that get automatically unlocked as you reach specific benchmarks.
These cosmetics feature character and weapon skins for Gibraltar, Wraith, Horizon, Mirage, Ash, along with the Wingman, R-301, Devotion, Kraber, 30-30 Repeater, Alternator, and Mozambique. In simpler terms, you’ll find various cosmetic designs for these specific characters and weapons in this set.
Additionally, there are some incentives available at no cost, which you can acquire through tasks. Players have the opportunity to collect Bounty Bucks by finishing daily event missions. Once you’ve gathered your Bounty Bucks, feel free to visit the Space Hunt Reward Store and pick out the rewards that appeal to you most. Keep in mind that the number of Bounty Bucks you can earn each day is limited.
The rotation resets half way through the event.
In additon to that, we are also getting some limited time Space Hunt deals in the Apex shop.
New Mode: Knockout
As a gamer, I’m pumped about the upcoming Apex Space Hunt event! It’s bringing in a brand new game mode called Knockout. In this high-octane competition, my squad and I will need to seize control of zones and gather EVO points to boost our score. Since the bottom 5 squads get kicked out after each round, every single point matters. Plus, we’ve got infinite respawns until we reach the nail-biting Sudden Death finale. After three rounds, only the top 5 squads will be dropped back into the fray for an all-out showdown where only one victorious squad remains!
