Anya Taylor-Joy Gets Piggybacked by Drew Starkey on Filming Set!
In a Las Vegas casino during filming for their upcoming Apple TV series titled “Lucky,” Drew Starkey carried Anya Taylor-Joy on his back, affectionately known as piggybacking, on Wednesday.
31-year-old celebrity from the Outer Banks wore a stylish navy suit and was seen escorting a 28-year-old actress, whose hair color was changed to auburn in a wig, instead of her typical blonde locks.
Anya exuded an extraordinary charm while she slipped into her role, donning a shimmering gold minidress without a back and paired with sleek black boots.
A different shot captured the pair standing near a famous roulette table at Caesars Palace, surrounded by numerous movie production teams.
The series appears to brim with tension, as Drew dashed through a bustling room while carrying Anya, immersed in their shooting process.
Drawing inspiration from its namesake New York Times bestseller, the show centers around the character of Lucky, portrayed by Anya, who strives to leave behind a life of crime. However, she is compelled to revert to her criminal ways for one last time in a desperate bid to free herself from her past.

The Hate U Give star Drew plays her husband Cary in the series.
The film “Lucky” features an illustrious ensemble of stars, including Annette Bening who has won a Golden Globe Award, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor who has been nominated for an Oscar, and Timothy Olyphant.
In the initial photographs, Anya, aged 28, exuded radiant beauty as she donned a sparkling golden minidress and a rich auburn wig, sharing a warm embrace with Drew.
In a heartfelt and tender gesture, she enveloped Drew, aged 31, with a warm hug, pressing their foreheads gently against each other during a quiet rest.
Filming for the show started in Las Vegas in February, however, it will soon shift to Los Angeles as efforts are made to relocate production to the City of Angels due to the January wildfires.
Originating from Apple Studios, Lucky is jointly overseen as showrunner, penned, and served as an executive producer by the duo of Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas.
The show is overseen by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter through their production company, Hello Sunshine, which is affiliated with Candle Media.
Beyond just appearing in the series, Anya also takes on the role of executive producer through her production company, Ladykiller.
In simpler terms, Jonathan Van Tulleken will take charge of multiple episodes, including the first one, and also act as the main decision-maker for these productions.

Additionally, Emmy Award-winner Greg Yaitanes and Jet Wilkinson will each direct two episodes.
Anya can currently be seen on screens with her new Apple TV horror movie, The Gorge.
In this movie, which premiered on Valentine’s Day, Miles Teller – known for his role in Top Gun: Maverick – appears as two sharpshooters strategically stationed on opposite sides of a massive chasm or gorge.
The task assigned to them carries an intriguing mystery, since neither of them have been informed about the specific contents of the fissure they are guarding.
They are aware that ‘the gorge serves as a gateway to the underworld’ and their task is to ‘prevent whatever lies within the gorge from emerging,’ according to the trailer.
The task they’re performing was directed by the character portrayed by Sigourney Weaver, renowned for her roles in the terrifying films Alien and Aliens.
The Gorge currently has a 65 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
