Anthony LaPaglia, known for his role on Without a Trace, is facing divorce from his wife of seven years, Alexandra Henkel, who reportedly filed the papers on Tuesday.
The Emmy-winning actress, 66, is three decades older than her ex-partner, who works as an advisor for Jean Dousset. She cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ – a common reason for divorce – when announcing their separation.
According to TMZ, Alexandra and Anthony separated on September 11th, and Alexandra is requesting financial support from him, but doesn’t want him to receive it in return.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Henkel asked the judge to split the money made from the sale of their Los Angeles home. She also requested to keep her engagement ring, a Rolex watch, and other pieces of jewelry.

Interestingly, on July 17th, LaPaglia announced on Instagram that he was selling off part of his watch collection – around 250 pieces, as he put it.
The Australian couple didn’t have any children together. However, Kelsey Grammer, known for his role on Frasier, has a 22-year-old daughter named Bridget from his previous marriage to Gia Carides.
Anthony and his wife, a 61-year-old actress from Austin, ended their 17-year marriage in March 2015. This followed reports that he was seen affectionately with Alexandra in Adelaide just a month earlier.
But not much is known about LaPaglia’s first marriage to Dream On alum Cherie Michan.
The Daily Mail has reached out to the Tony-winning thespian’s rep for comment.
Anthony will next star as Fabry in Alex Proyas’ upcoming science fiction musical, R.U.R., inspired by the 1920 play of the same name by Karel Čapek.
Frank LaPaglia will star as Coach Dewey D’Angelo in the upcoming baseball movie, The Change-Up Kid, directed by David Barrett.
Last year, the Golden Globe-winning actor played the role of Tytus Broz, a powerful and dangerous figure in the Netflix limited series, Boy Swallows Universe, which is set in Brisbane.

In May and June 2024, Anthony returned to the role of Willy Loman in Arthur Miller’s acclaimed play, Death of a Salesman, performing at the Theatre Royal Sydney.
Last year, Anthony LaPaglia lent his voice to the role of Chicago mobster Alphonse Capone in the 10-part podcast drama, True Noir: The Assassination of Anton Cermak, created by Max Allan Collins.
I’ve been a huge fan of this actor for years! I first really noticed him when he played FBI Special Agent Jack Malone on Without a Trace. That show was amazing and ran for seven seasons on CBS, from 2002 to 2009, and it’s what he’s probably most famous for. It’s incredible to see he’s been nominated for a SAG Award three times!
