After wildfires ravaged Los Angeles earlier this year, Sir Anthony Hopkins is said to be selling his California property for around £5.1 million.
The 87-year-old Academy Award winner is reportedly seeking $6.4 million (about £5.1 million) for the two properties next to each other that were damaged in the fire.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Anthony started collecting pieces of this incredible estate way back in 2018 and 2019 – he just had to have it all! It cost him a total of $12.6 million – that’s like, £10 million! Can you even imagine?! He clearly has amazing taste, and I’m so obsessed with everything about it!
Despite the heartbreaking loss, the Silence of the Lambs star has remained grounded.
In an interview with The Mirror, he shared a message of hope amidst the recent fires, saying that the most important thing we carry with us isn’t material possessions, but the love we share with others.
This isn’t the first time Anthony’s home has faced the threat of fire.

In November 2018, a fire known as the Woolsey Fire came dangerously close to his Malibu home, but thankfully spared it while destroying the property next door.
He also lost his home in London due to a fire back in 2000, but fortunately he wasn’t there – he was in Los Angeles at the time.
In January, wildfires tragically claimed ten lives and displaced thousands of residents, particularly impacting the Palisades neighborhood.
The data breach impacted many people, including well-known celebrities like Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Diane Warren, and Ricki Lake.
Paris, 43, shared a heartbreaking video online showing her Malibu home, located by the water, being destroyed by fire. She watched it happen live on television.
The socialite shared on X (formerly Twitter) that watching her Malibu home burn in a live news report with her family was a devastating experience, something she hopes no one else ever goes through. She included a video from KABC showing the extent of the damage.
Anna Faris, 48, also lost her $5million mansion during the devastating Pacific Palisades fire.
New photos show the 4,000 square foot house, purchased for nearly $5 million in 2019, completely burned down to its foundation.

Miles Teller, known for his role in Top Gun: Maverick, and his wife Keleigh purchased a $7.5 million home in April 2023, but it was completely destroyed.
Keleigh posted a couple of photos on Instagram back then. The first showed the fire and included a sad-face emoji, while the second asked people who were leaving their homes to put out bowls of water for animals trying to escape.
Meanwhile, American Pie star Eugene Levy’s home had also been levelled.
I was so saddened to hear that Eugene Levy, the wonderful actor from Schitt’s Creek, lost his home in the recent Westside fire. It was in Pacific Palisades, and unfortunately, the fire spread quickly and completely destroyed it. It’s just heartbreaking to think about everything lost.
He explained to the Los Angeles Times that he was stuck in heavy traffic while trying to leave the area before the fire reached his home.
According to Urban Splatter, Levy bought the property in 2006 for around $3.9 million, which was considered a reasonable price at the time.
