Ant McPartlin enjoys a sunny stroll with wife Anne-Marie and their baby son Wilder in Portugal – 18 years to the day after his first wedding to his ex Lisa Armstrong
As someone who has gone through a painful and public divorce, I can only imagine the betrayal and heartache Lisa felt when she learned about Ant’s new relationship and baby with Anne-Marie. The fact that this news came out in such a public way must have added to her distress.
Ant McPartlin took full advantage of his summer vacation, unwinding with his wife Anne-Marie and their young son in Portugal during what would have been his 18th anniversary with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.
On Mondays, Anne-Marie and their 48-year-old partner, took a leisurely walk with their newborn son Wilder in the Algarve, following the arrival of their first child as a couple in May.
An ant looked relaxed in a yellow printed shirt and gray shorts that were loose fitting. In contrast, Anne-Marie chose an oversized shirt with soft pastel stripes.
The couple flew to Portugal for their family vacation, following Ant’s trip to Mallorca with friend Dec Donnelly to shoot a new ad for TUI, the travel firm.
Eighteen years have passed since Ant’s wedding to his ex-wife Lisa, which took place on July 22, 2006. They later divorced in 2018.
I couldn’t contain my joy as I savored every moment with my cherished family, despite the prolonged court battle between me and my ex Lisa, 47, over our treasured pet Hurley.
Back in 2013, my beloved idols, the former couple, brought home a new family member – a sweet and playful dog. Amidst their own personal challenges in starting a family, this furry friend became an essential part of their lives. However, heartbreakingly, after 12 beautiful years of marriage, they went separate ways in 2018.
Lisa and Ant currently co-parent their son, Hurley. However, rumors suggest that Lisa aims to have Hurley all to herself, an arrangement that Hurley reportedly opposes.
About two weeks ago, the makeup artist marked her Instgram account with a heartfelt post in honor of her dog’s 11th birthday.
Showing her love for her four-legged friend, she shared a series of snaps of Hurley over the years, from a puppy to now.

During their expensive £31 million divorce, Ant is reportedly insisted on keeping full custody of Hurley from his ex. He allegedly told his lawyers, “She can have everything she desires – but not the pet.”
In February, it was reported that Lisa had shared her intention to dedicate herself fully to caring for the Lab. Her friends, who are close to the make-up artist, mention that this desire has grown even stronger since the arrival of Ant’s first child.
According to our sources, she was deeply hurt by the actions of Ant and Anne-Marie and believed that the situation had been mishandled, particularly in regards to the reveal of their baby news.
“Hurley is the one thing that has stayed with her throughout it all, providing comfort and companionship when she needed it most. He’s not just a pet to her but a vital source of strength and support at times of hardship.”
I understand that Ant holds a deep affection for Hurley, yet his current obligations and circumstances seem to hinder their relationship from being what Lisa desires. With so many responsibilities on his plate and various distractions, it’s challenging for me to see why full custody can’t be granted to her. The presence of Hurley by her side is crucial for Lisa at this time.
The ex-couple allegedly made a plan for sharing custody of Hurley. With this setup, Ant’s driver would transport the dog back and forth, allowing them to avoid face-to-face interactions.
In March 2018, Ant’s battles with alcohol became known to the public, two months following his divorce from Lisa. He faced a drunk driving charge and was penalized £86,000 after being involved in a car accident.
In addition to welcoming his son home in May, Ant also revealed a fresh tattoo, symbolizing his deep affection for his family.
While cradling the newborn, Ant showed off a family tree tattoo on his upper arm. Some fans criticized him, claiming he had ignored naming Hurley, their beloved dog, in the tattoo design.
Ant reassured fans by writing: “Hi everyone, I can’t express enough gratitude for your heartfelt messages of support and well-wishes for our newborn baby, Wilder. He is in good health.”

About a month ago, Lisa re-emerged on social media following the host’s secretive announcement of the birth of her baby boy, Wilder.
Lisa shared on her Instagram Stories, quoting Winston Churchill, “I no longer just listen to what people tell me, I observe their actions instead. The truth is revealed in behavior.”
Additionally, she posted a picture of four Labradors, among them was Hurley, accompanied by the caption: “Reunited with the gang.”
