Another Simple Favour ending explained: Who is the killer?

Let me get straight to the point: It was Charity, the triplet of Hope and Faith, who committed the murders – first Sean before the wedding, and then Dante following the wedding.

In the initial film, it was suggested that Charity didn’t survive birth; this revelation occurred when Stephanie found out that Emily (actually Hope) was indeed a triplet.

Margaret didn’t deceive Stephanie intentionally when she mentioned that Charity had been stillborn. In truth, Margaret believed this to be the case because it was their sister Linda who secretly gave birth to Charity and led Margaret to believe that the child had died at birth.

Afterward, Linda took Charity under her wing, exploiting her in schemes where Linda would swindle men and ultimately murder them once they had handed over their money. The occasion of Emily’s wedding presented another chance for Linda to orchestrate a fraudulent scheme, as she found out that Emily’s union with Dante was nothing more than a sham.

As a gamer, I’ve always had this secret crush on my in-game rival Matteo, or Lorenzo de Moor, someone I’ve known since our gaming days way back. Emily, my friend from those times, has been privy to this fact. To shield this secret and help me out, she agreed to marry me, keeping my feelings hidden beneath the veil of matrimony. In return, Dante’s lawyers used their influence to secure her release from prison.

Linda threatened Emily with a secret worth $20 million, but Emily refused to comply. In response, Linda enlisted Charity as a pawn. Before the marriage ceremony, Charity spiked Emily’s drink, impersonated her, murdered Dante during the reception, and framed Stephanie for the crime.

Due to Dante canceling their prenuptial agreement before the wedding, Emily stood to receive a substantial amount of wealth, which in turn would also benefit Linda, as Emily was a charitable organization. (It’s unclear what might have happened to Emily; it seems likely that either she would have been harmed or kept under control permanently through some means.)

Due to Margaret’s unintended disclosure about spotting Charity at the wedding, Linda found herself in a tight spot and ultimately felt compelled to suffocate Charity with a pillow, as it seemed like the only viable option left.

In a turn of events, Stephanie slips away from the hotel room where she is being confined under house arrest. However, she is seized by Portia, who suspects Stephanie of being responsible for Dante’s death. Meanwhile, Emily, having managed to free herself from her own abduction, rescues Stephanie and intends to reveal the truth about Linda and Charity.

Charity and Linda have gained an advantage, kidnapping Emily’s son Nicky. Linda believes this action will push Charity to murder Emily, but she fails to realize the depth of Charity’s affection for her sister.

In the end, it was Charity who took Sean’s life in order to aid Emily since Sean intended to gain full custody of Nicky. Later on, she reassures Emily by saying, “I protected you from Sean, and tonight I will protect you from Dante as well.

Following a fierce confrontation, Charity ends Linda’s life. To confirm her death, Charity subsequently shoves Linda off a cliffside. On her descent, Linda’s body collides with the cliff edge repeatedly.

Due to her deep affection for her sister, Charity agrees to impersonate Emily and admit to all her wrongdoings. This results in Emily getting sent back to prison, whereas Emily slips away into anonymity in Italy.

Emily requests Stephanie to temporarily care for Nicky until she’s able to meet him again, which is essentially a small help she needs. Later in the movie “Another Simple Favour,” Emily herself finds herself in a situation where she must grant another ‘small favour,’ as Portia appears with an enigmatic demand.

Since we haven’t discovered more about it, we’ll simply need to be patient until there’s a new film release. How about “Waiting for More Favor”?

Another Simple Favour is now available to watch on Prime Video.
