Another Lindsay Lohan classic is now trending worldwide after Freakier Friday release

Yet another popular film featuring Lindsay Lohan is currently gaining global attention following its cinema debut titled “Freaky Friday“.

This week, the latest movie being released is actually a continuation of the 2003 Disney film where Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis played the roles of a daughter and mother who mysteriously swapped bodies. Interestingly, that original film has been crowned as both the most-watched movie and top content overall on Disney+ this week.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that the timeless Lohan film “The Parent Trap” is currently quite popular as well. Globally, it ranks as the fourth most-viewed movie on Disney+ today.

In the movie from 1998, Lohan portrays two sets of twins who were born together but raised apart – one in Los Angeles and the other in London.

At summer camp, they unexpectedly cross paths, but at first, they struggle to connect. However, they eventually devise a scheme to reunite their separated parents.

In addition to Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson, the movie features both Lindsay Lohan and family members of director Nancy Meyers in brief appearances.

Jeannette Charles, a well-known Queen Elizabeth II look-alike, portrayed the monarch in a recording, though unfortunately, this scene was cut from the final edit. Fortunately, it can still be viewed as an extra feature on Disney+; simply navigate to the ‘Extras’ section of the film.

Currently, Lohan has shared her feelings about the “Freakier Friday” sequence, which she finds herself watching with a sense of caution and unease.

Originally, the scene spanned just a small portion of a single page, but it eventually expanded into multiple pages, as noted by co-star Chad Michael Murray.

Freakier Friday is out in cinemas now.
