Another gacha skin is coming to LoL: Quantum Galaxy Slayer Zed
The upcoming mythical character in our game is the Quantum Cosmic Destroyer Zed. You’ll be able to get him through the gacha system on February 20th.
Get ready, League of Legends enthusiasts! The Quantum Galaxy Zed character is set to join the game in just a few days, specifically on February 20th. This exciting news is particularly thrilling for all you Zed main players out there – let’s explore the details together!
How to obtain the Quantum Galaxy Slayer Zed skin
In simpler terms, you can obtain the Quantum Galaxy Slayer Zed costume by using the random draw system known as gacha. To do this, you’ll need to purchase Ancient Sparks and then make a “wish” for Zed’s skin in the Sanctum. Unlike previous Exalted skins for Jinx and Sett, there’s a slight modification in how they were released.
At first, each spark initially costs 400 RP, and it was assured that you would receive the skin after approximately 80 draws, potentially reaching a total of $250. However, as reported by League of Legends Leaks & News, the required number of pulls has been reduced to just 40. Important to note, Quantum Galaxy Slayer Zed is a Mythic Variant skin, similar to Divine God-King Darius. This means that these 40 draws are likely exclusive to Mythic Variants and will not contribute towards Exalted skins. Keep in mind that your pulls on the Exalted Banner do not contribute to the Mythic Banner.
In the public testing phase, known as the Public Beta Environment (PBE), this unique version of the character is being put to the test. A glimpse of its entire design, including all details and animations associated with its skin, can be observed there. It will make its official debut in the Sanctum on February 20th.
Are people sick of these skins? Yes.
If you look at the League of Legends post labeled ‘X’, the comments below it are humorous and feature references to Hextech chests, as well as a lack of orbs and rewards from the latest battle pass model. Other players used this opportunity to express their frustration towards Riot Games over expensive skins and alleged disregard for player feedback. One user wrote, “It’s fantastic that we’re getting more gacha skins instead of improving the game experience. I’m completely unfazed by this.
1. It’s disheartening to witness a highly acclaimed game seemingly self-destruct. Once upon a time, League was unparalleled, but now, with emerging competitors on the scene, it seems to have taken an unfortunate turn. Instead of competing, it has introduced gambling, eliminated free rewards, and relentlessly demands money from players. I decided to leave the game at that point. Regrettably, Riot, you fell short of our expectations.
Another take:
2. It’s a shame to watch a once-great game seemingly commit suicide. League was superior in its prime, but now, with the arrival of new games and an opportunity to compete, it resorts to offering gambling, abolishing free rewards, and exploiting players financially. I chose to part ways with the game when that happened. Unfortunate as it may be, Riot, you let us down.
For those players unhappy with these skins, they’ll likely remain available for a while longer, as Riot Games appears uninterested in dismantling this system and there are whispers of another Exalted skin on the horizon.
Next Exalted skin
In an upcoming update, Patch 25.S1.5 on March 5, the next Elevated skin will feature Mordkaiser. Based on recent leaks, it seems we’ll get a glimpse of Mordkaiser in his human form prior to his transformation.
