Anoma’s A1 Slate Watch Features A Lacquered Black Dial
In June, the unique watch brand Anoma entered the scene with the A1 – a captivating timepiece known for its triangular case with rounded edges. After the successful introduction and delivery of the initial series, Anoma is now unveiling the next phase of this model: the A1 Slate, which boasts a dial finished in glossy black lacquer.
Matteo Violet Vianello, the founder of Anoma and an academy member of GPHG, shares that our aim was to produce a minimalist yet impactful design. He notes that “In a world saturated with vibrant colors,” we discovered strength in simplicity by opting for black – a hue that symbolizes both strong presence and profound discretion.
The dial features a vertical brushed pattern and black lacquered triangular designs, giving it an interesting appearance that makes the watch face appear smoothly black at some angles, but two-toned at others.
This watch showcases a 39mm stainless steel case that feels surprisingly sleek on your wrist due to its curved, lug-free design. It retains the same sculptural shape as the initial Anoma A1 model, inspired by a Charlotte Perriand coffee table from the 1950s.
From March 10, 2 PM Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or 10 AM Eastern Time (ET), I’m thrilled to let you know that I can finally place an order for the Anoma A1 Slate on the official brand’s website!
