Abilities

Toxic Bullet

As a gamer, I unleash a poisonous shot from behind me, targeting a singular Nikke. The attack deals harm, and if it successfully connects, it inflicts extra damage.

Nothing serious to be worried about. If a shielder is used this ability is barely noticeable

Contaminated Projectile

The ability consistently sends out projectiles that harm several Nikkes simultaneously. When these hits accumulate, it causes significant continuous damage. This skill can be disrupted if you destroy the Toxin Chamber.

Typically, you won’t notice if the so-called ‘poison chambers’ get destroyed after they respawn. However, if they aren’t being destroyed, this ability will continue to release small poison projectiles until the chambers are finally destroyed. Activating this ability suggests there isn’t enough damage per second (DPS), and it almost always results in a team wipe.

Shock Wave

Ultra smashes the ground, dealing powerful damage to all Nikkes.

An incredibly potent strike capable of instantly defeating Nikke, provided they’re struck head-on. A direct hit leaves Nikkes momentarily stunned for a brief period following collision. Both Cover and Shields offer complete protection against this attack.

Toxic Shell

As a gamer, I unleash a torrent of harmful projectiles from my character’s mouth, striking every Nikke in sight. Once they’re hit, these shells keep causing significant ongoing damage.

Immediately following a Shock Wave, it sprays harmful casings for several seconds. If a Nikke is struck, it will cause significant Damage Over Time (DoT). However, these attacks can be completely blocked by using Cover or activating Shields.

Toxic Dust

Gathers and fires harmful particulate matter, causing significant harm to a single Nikke. Establishes a protective shield upon gathering toxic dust. When activated, this shield prevents all Nikkes except Iron Code Nikkes from inflicting damage.

A unique skill that triggers an elemental Quick-Time-Event, which can only be resolved by Iron Code Nikkes. This involves three circles arranged in a triangle, either above the left or right toxic chambers.

Toxic Substance Spray

The creature releases a potent harmful chemical throughout its entire being, which can be halted by the unique maneuver known as ‘Special Interruption’. If this action is unsuccessful, this toxic compound inflicts significant harm on all Nikkes.

In this scenario, Ultra disappears from the battlefield, triggering a critical sequence known as a Quick-Time-Event (QTE). Two instances, represented by circles, will appear in alignment with a plus sign (+). The key action is to interrupt only the middle circle. Ignoring this can result in significant damage and often leads to defeat.

General Tips

Pierce Nikke have a strong advantage over non-pierce Nikke on this boss due to Core-Body-Parts.

To avert the activation of a powerful damaging ability, it’s crucial to destroy both the Containment Chambers, as their destruction is the only way to halt this destructive power.

When employing a shielder, utilizing its shockwave ability along with the shield and guarding subsequent Toxic Shell ability is generally the most effective strategy for survival while dishing out damage. However, if no Nikke equipped with cover repair is present, it’s crucial to ensure that the cover remains intact before the final Toxic Shell in the fight concludes.

Ultras core frequently respawns so make sure to constantly destroy it for bonus damage.

As a dedicated fan, I always make sure to take on both the elemental and screen-wide Quick Time Events (QTEs) with utmost caution. Neglecting these crucial interactions often results in a devastating team wipe. To ensure success, I never forget to bring along at least one Iron Code Nikke in my squad.
