It’s been reported that the relationship between the two individuals has become strained due to speculation about Lauryn Goodman, the footballer’s former mistress, possibly relocating to Italy as well, along with her and Kyle’s two children.

The relocation to Italy was considered as a fresh start for Kyle and Annie, aimed at leaving their turbulent recent years behind them.
