The trailer for the new A24 film, Mother Mary, is out now, showing Anne Hathaway as a pop star struggling with dark forces. The movie centers on the relationship between Hathaway’s character, Mother Mary, and a fashion designer named Sam, played by Michaela Cole. The cast also includes Hunter Schafer, Jessica Brown Findlay, Sian Clifford, and FKA Twigs. David Lowery wrote and directed the film.
I just watched the full trailer for A24’s Mother Mary, and it looks intense! It seems Anne Hathaway’s character, Mary, needs help from Sam, played by Cole. But there’s clearly some bad blood between them – the trailer hints Mary basically cut Sam out of her life when she became famous. You can check out the trailer below, it’s a wild ride!
