Anne Hathaway took a break from filming the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada to spend time with her family in a glamorous Italian location.
Filming for the eagerly awaited sequel has begun in Milan, and Anne and the other actors have been fully immersed in their roles lately.
On Sunday, 42-year-old Anne spent time with her husband, Adam Shulman, 44, and their sons, 5-year-old Jack and 9-year-old Jonathan.
The group took a boat tour of Lake Como, a beautiful and popular spot known for attracting celebrities.
Anne was dressed in an outfit her Runway colleagues would have been proud of.
She wore a black blazer-style coat, stylish angled sunglasses, and a leather purse tied with a ribbon.

Jonathan was also looking sharp in a dark blue jacket paired of black trousers.
Last week Anne was spotted with co-star Emily Blunt as they resumed production in Milan.
Emily quickly ran to greet Anne, excited to be back playing her character, the sharp-witted assistant Emily Charlton.
The cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2 has been filming in Milan, and stars Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci were recently seen at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show.
Oh my gosh, you guys, they just announced the sequel! And get this – it’s coming out in May 2026! That’s *exactly* twenty years after the first movie completely took over everyone’s lives. I seriously can’t even breathe thinking about it! It feels like fate, honestly. Twenty years… it’s perfect!
Okay, so everyone’s being super tight-lipped about the exact story, but from what I’ve gathered, we’re going to see Miranda dealing with everything that’s happening to print magazines right now! It’s going to be so interesting to watch her navigate all those challenges, I just *know* it. I’m already obsessed!
Sources say she’ll likely need help from her old assistant, Emily (played by Emily Blunt, who is now a leader at a high-end fashion company), to land important advertising contracts.
There were rumors that Emily’s character in the first movie was based on Victoria ‘Plum’ Sykes, a former writer for Vogue, but Sykes has repeatedly denied the connection.

Many believe Miranda Priestly, the iconic character from *The Devil Wears Prada*, was based on Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue. Wintour recently announced she will be leaving her position after 37 years.
The film *The Devil Wears Prada* wasn’t just a huge commercial success; it became a defining part of popular culture. Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Miranda Priestly quickly became legendary, and the film sparked a widespread fascination with fashion, famously captured in the line, ‘That’s all.’
The film received two Academy Award nominations, and Meryl Streep was nominated for Best Actress. She also won a Golden Globe award for her performance in a musical or comedy film.

The show received five BAFTA nominations and three Golden Globe nominations, and it’s now considered one of the most important comedies of the 2000s.
David Frankel will direct the sequel, and Aline Brosh McKenna is returning to write the script, just as they did for the first movie.
The Devil Wears Prada is based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger and was published in 2003.
The story was later adapted into a musical featuring Vanessa Williams as Miranda Priestly, with music composed by Elton John.
