Anna Paul’s Social Media Following Plummets Amid Online Feud: Over 469,000 Followers Lost!

Anna Paul’s social media following seems to be decreasing due to her ongoing disagreement with her ex-best friend, Mikaela Testa.

Over the last week, there’s been a heated digital argument among TikTok celebrities. Testa has accused Paul of body shaming a fan in Brisbane and fabricating stories about her humble origins.

It seems that the ongoing dispute is affecting Paul’s popularity on social media, with her losing approximately 450,000 followers over the past month.

According to the social media analytics platform Social Blade, it’s been observed that Paul, who is 25 years old, experienced a decrease of approximately 400,000 TikTok followers from January 22nd to February 4th.

Starting from January 29, there’s been a decline in her number of followers, which has now leveled off at approximately 6.8 million after two days. This is a decrease from the 7.2 million she had prior to the disagreement.

Additionally, the platform shows that on a daily basis, Paul is experiencing a significant drop of over 13,000 TikTok followers.

Paul’s situation on Instagram is somewhat similar, although slightly less dramatic. 

She has lost more than 69,000 followers on the social media platform within the same period.

Starting with approximately 2.45 million followers, there has been a decrease to around 2.37 million. On average, about 2,307 followers are no longer engaging with her content daily.

remarkably, there was a minor increase in her follower count on just one day, specifically January 28th, as she gained 265 new followers that day.

Overall, the feud has cost Paul approximately 469,000 social media followers. 

In contrast, her online rival, Testa, has seen significant social media growth.

During the same period, Testa gained 200,000 followers on TikTok and 45,840 on Instagram. 

On Monday evening, Paul, known for his daily vlogs, addressed Testa’s assertions in a TikTok video, breaking his uncommon five-day pause in posting on social media.

In the clip, she denied Testa’s allegations before becoming tearful.

Paul stated, “I don’t refer to my supporters as overweight, that isn’t my character or my beliefs. That hasn’t been the case in the past, and I hope you all know me well enough to understand this.

It could be possible that I referred to her as “sweaty,” as when someone makes contact with you while being wet, leaves, and then you find yourself also becoming wet in the company of a close friend, it might lead you to express “I’m now wet.

‘This was four years ago, that may have happened. That does not make me a bad person.’

Paul later countered accusations that he had misrepresented his family’s financial hardships by stating that the extravagant social media posts depicting high-end travel and luxury items from his teenage years were merely fabricated, and that he often felt financially strapped during that time.

‘I do not lie about the fact that I grew up broke,’ Paul said.

She shared that she was raised in poverty, and that’s her personal history, her emotions associated with it. Hearing her parents discuss a grocery budget of $30 for the week would evoke a sense of being financially struggling within her.

When we don’t have the money for school uniforms, it leaves me feeling financially strained, especially at the age of 11 when many of my peers are able to purchase new clothes and I cannot due to my family’s financial situation, which in turn makes me feel like I am struggling financially.

Hearing someone express concern about not being able to pay next week’s rent leaves me feeling anxious and gives the impression that they are financially struggling.

Instead of asserting that the photos depicting her teenage years filled with luxury items such as Louis Vuitton bags, first-class travel, and high-end cars were fabricated solely to attract attention, Anna clarified that there’s little evidence of her genuine childhood available online.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself utterly baffled by the internet’s recent frenzy, unearthing photographs that were purportedly from my childhood home, but in reality, depicted a location where I resided as an adult – a place I never could have envisioned stepping foot in when I was just 7 years old.

Back in my younger days, there wasn’t a single social media platform to call my own. Can you believe it? The year was 2006, and the concept of the internet as we know it today was still in its infancy. It’s hard for me to imagine that any images from my childhood could have been found on the web back then.

Paul stated that although he may not be the poorest individual globally, and there are those who are less fortunate, this doesn’t imply that he is being dishonest.

Anna, too, acknowledged her lengthy hiatus from social media, an absence that led some to assume she was collaborating with a public relations team to devise a suitable reaction.

The OnlyFans content creator emphasized to her followers that she had been working independently and was currently residing in the house all by herself.

‘The reason I’ve taken so long to respond is because this has all taken me by surprise,’ she said. 

I was taken aback significantly as I considered this individual a trusted friend, and learning otherwise caused me considerable pain.

The social media star then broke down in tears as she touched on the impact of the firestorm. 

Anna expressed that even with her team and backup, she couldn’t fathom enduring her current situation all by herself.

Last week saw the commencement of a drama as Mikaela, a social media influencer and OnlyFans model, aged 24, alleged on TikTok that her longtime friend Anna, who they had been acquainted with for nearly a decade, ridiculed a ‘plus-size fan’ during a trip to South Bank in the year 2021.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Anna and Mikaela’s representatives for further comment. 

For quite some time now, there have been rumors suggesting that Mikaela and Anna have been involved in a disagreement ever since Mikaela parted ways with Anna’s brother, Atis, back in 2022.

In contrast, Mikaela dispelled the rumors in June 2023 during an interview on the White Fox After Hours podcast, revealing that she was maintaining contact with the other women and they had arranged to meet up in Europe that summer.

Mikaela expressed that there’s no obstacle preventing us from being friends, and then hinted subtly at some issues with her former partner by admitting she isn’t particularly fond of him.

She went on to call Anna a ‘lovely human being’ and she will ‘love her forever’. 

‘I obviously wish them well,’ Mikaela continued. 

‘Anna and I had been friends prior to when Atis and I began dating. Anna is truly an exceptional person, and I’ve always held a deep affection for her that will last a lifetime.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself maintaining a friendship with an acquaintance across the miles. Regular exchanges of digital messages continue between us, sharing thoughts on various topics. Recently, she expressed interest in meeting up in Europe, to which I offered my guidance.

Mikaela continued by sharing that Anna has expressed she intends to remain supportive for her, regardless of the separation from Atis.

In May 2022, Mikaela and Atis ended their relationship following many years together. It was Atis who initially announced the split in June, ending months of rumors about their relationship status.

In an Instagram Q&A with fans, she said the pair will never stop loving each other.

‘Will always be in love with each other, we never stopped,’ she said.
