In a recently rediscovered interview, Anna Kendrick said Katy Perry touched her chest in a way that made her uncomfortable.

Actress Kristen Stewart, age 40, recently shared a strange encounter she had with Katy Perry, 41, while on Conan O’Brien’s show in 2014.

The video is getting a lot of attention online after actress Ruby Rose publicly accused singer Perry of sexual assault, alleging it happened when she was in her early twenties. Perry has strongly denied these claims.

I’ll never forget when Kendrick talked about that wild night at the 2014 Grammys with Andy O’Brien! He said Katy Perry playfully grabbed at his chest – he literally used the phrase ‘finger-banged my cleavage,’ and he said it was just a really strange, unforgettable evening.

Kendrick responded sarcastically, saying she seemed very mature. O’Brien followed up, questioning if that was all there was to it. Kendrick then jokingly commented on the revealing Azzaro dress she wore, adding with a touch of self-deprecating humor, ‘I guess I was asking for attention with what I was wearing.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Perry and Kendrick for comment. 

Conan was shocked and asked, “What?” Kendrick replied, “I would have been disappointed if no one had taken the initiative.”

Conan pressed her for details about what happened. ‘Tell me exactly what it was like,’ he said. ‘You were just standing there, and then Katy Perry walked past, and…’ He used a hand motion to indicate that he wanted her to finish the story.

Kendrick said he’d met her previously, and Conan added that it was typical of her.

‘Yeah, you know, she’s aggressive, I like it,’ Kendrick replied.

This follows Perry’s response to Rose’s accusations, which he called ‘dangerous and reckless lies.’ He was responding to Rose’s denial of claims that she sexually assaulted the actress from Orange Is the New Black.

The entertainer, now 40, said on social media that the incident involving the singer happened at a Melbourne nightclub when she was in her twenties.

Rose added that it had taken her ‘almost two decades’ to speak about it publicly.

A spokesperson for Katy Perry strongly denied Ruby Rose’s claims, calling them false and harmful in a statement to the Daily Mail. They described the allegations circulating on social media as ‘dangerous, reckless lies’.

Ms. Rose frequently makes serious accusations against people on social media, but those she accuses consistently deny her claims.

In a Threads post, Rose accused Katy Perry of sexual assault, claiming the incident occurred at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. She also dismissed Perry’s opinions.

She explained that she was just in her early twenties when the event occurred, and is now forty years old. It’s taken her nearly twenty years to feel comfortable speaking about it publicly.

I’m thankful I lived long enough to discover who I am, but it’s a stark reminder of the lasting effects of trauma and sexual assault. Thank you for acknowledging me and my experience.

It is not the first time the Australian actress has criticized Perry in public. 

She described the singer’s track Swish Swish as ‘purposeful poop’ in 2017.

Just days after making the comments, Rose changed her mind. She posted on X, stating that she doesn’t like being unkind and that it makes her feel bad.

Being unkind creates far more problems than you might think, and it really bothers me when bullies aren’t held responsible for their actions. It makes me want to speak up, but I feel like it’s not my responsibility to do so.

Katy Perry was once a massive pop star, but her career has been struggling recently, and her new music hasn’t been successful in bringing it back on track.

She received backlash last year for joining Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, on a Blue Origin space flight. One public relations professional even warned that this could severely damage her career.
