Anna Faris Considers Real Housewives Role Post-Divorce from Chris Pratt

Anna Faris has considered joining the Real Housewives franchise.

As a connoisseur of all things lifestyle, I must admit that if the esteemed Bravo boss, Andy Cohen, were to extend an invitation for me to be part of his wildly successful reality franchise, I wouldn’t hesitate to answer the call at 48 years young!

Anna told Us Weekly recently: ‘I was thinking the other day if I would make a good Real Housewife.

I feel like I might be too plain or uninteresting. At times, I wonder if my kindness comes across as dullness. Sometimes, I wish I could just let everything show without holding back. It’s hard to say if I would always keep up appearances, even when there aren’t any cameras around. Honestly, I’m not sure.

With almost three decades of professional acting under her belt, she pondered whether she could truly be authentic on camera, given the demands of reality TV’s dramatic flair.

She explained: ‘I feel like, fundamentally, I can be pretty quiet and reserved in my own skin.

‘But it would be really fun to play a character on a reality show.’

If necessary, she confided in the weekly that she would gladly accept a call from Cohen should he ask her to participate, particularly if it were an invitation for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Yet, she voiced doubts about her ability to keep pace alongside Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Denise Richards, and Erika Girardi, stating: “But they’re on such a higher level.

‘That’s like going to graduate school when you’re a freshman.’

A little over a month ago, I was beyond thrilled when Anna, my idol, shared some precious insights about her amazing 12-year-old son, Jack – the cherished fruit of her time with Chris Pratt. What a treat for fans like me!

Last month, she shared with Us Weekly that her child had managed the challenging situation following our city’s fires admirably.

‘I really appreciate that,’ added the star.

When discussing her collaboration with the bathroom cleaner Scrubbing Bubbles, the actress expressed gratitude by stating that having Jack alongside her is something she considers herself extremely fortunate for.

In another interview with People, she remarked, “He’s always been incredibly grounded,” she said. “It’s surprising for someone growing up in Hollywood to have that kind of stability.

She added, ‘I don’t know how he got so down-to-earth, but I’m really grateful.’

In 2017, Faris and Pratt decided to part ways, and they officially ended their marriage the next year, which began in 2009.

Even though they’re no longer a romantic item, this ex-couple have made an effort to maintain a strong bond as co-parents, focusing on their shared responsibility and love for their son born in August 2012.

Since then, both individuals have remarried and started new families. Faris exchanged vows with cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021, while Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 and together they’ve had three children since.

However, only two months past, the peaceful coexistence of their combined family was disrupted and replaced with tension and fear. This occurred when they were compelled to abandon their residences in the Pacific Palisades district of Los Angeles, due to a destructive fire that swept through the region in January.

Ultimately, Pratt’s house alongside Schwarzenegger remained standing, but Faris’ home crumbled into ruins.

Or:

In the end, Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s house stayed intact, whereas Faris’ house was reduced to a pile of debris.

It turns out that the home of the actor from Scary Movie was among the 18,000 buildings and houses destroyed by the wildfires in Los Angeles. These fires were primarily composed of the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire.

The residence belonging to the Scary Movie star was one out of the 18,000 properties that were engulfed in flames during the L.A. wildfires. The fires were mostly made up of the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire.

Apart from losing their shared home, Jack’s school was also devastated, as Pratt had shared in an Instagram video back then.

Faris shared with Us that it’s strange and challenging, but they feel blessed as they are secure. Moreover, they expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to work.

Apart from the ongoing Scrubbing Bubbles cleaning campaign, Faris is also dedicating time to act in the upcoming comedy movie, titled Spa Weekend. She will be working with fellow stars Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, and Michelle Buteau on this project.

In addition to her latest assignments, she also has voice acting roles in the comedic animated movie Toy Story 5, alongside stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, as well as the live-action animated film I, Object, which boasts an impressive cast including Karl Urban, Jemaine Clement, and Skywalker Hughes.

Originally hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, Faris made a significant mark on the film industry with her debut performance in the 2000 horror-comedy spoof movie, Scary Movie.

She went on to appear in the next three sequels in the film franchise through 2006.

Among my unforgettable performances, you’ll find gems like The Hot Chick from 2002, Lost In Translation and Brokeback Mountain in 2003, Just Friends, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Smiley Face, The House Bunny, What’s Your Number?, The Dictator, and Overboard – all of these films have left their mark. Plus, I shone on the small screen for eight seasons as part of the hilarious CBS sitcom Mom, which aired from 2013 to 2021. These roles are just a piece of my incredible journey as an actress!
