Anna Camp reacts to being SNUBBED for an Emmy nomination as fans love how she ‘keeps it really real’
On Tuesday, actress Anna Camp was hailed as a fan favorite on Instagram following the announcement of the 2025 Primetime Emmy Award nominees, who overlooked her in their selection process.
From South Carolina hails the 42-year-old actress, who shared a picture on Netflix’s thriller series, capturing a moment where she appears puzzled while looking at her phone.
She shared, this morning, as I’m reading about the nominations, I’m aware that one of my best performances ever was given, yet trying to be genuinely happy for everyone else, all while recalling my promise to abstain from alcohol during the week – symbolized by an emoji of a melting head.
It left both Camp and her supporters surprised when the actress failed to receive any nominations for her portrayal of twin sisters Reagan and Maddie Lockwood in the series “You”.
One user exclaimed, ‘I was utterly astonished… very few individuals have the opportunity to portray twins, but no one has managed it quite like you did.’ They added, ‘Hollywood, take heed!’
Someone stated, ‘You were unfairly treated, considering they chose all the cast of White Lotus, a series that many disliked watching.’

A different individual, known for their roles in True Blood, The Mindy Project, and Pitch Perfect, commended her acting skills on the show.
The spectator exclaimed, “We adore you, QUEEN! You’re incredibly intelligent, generous, and full of surprises. You’re sharp, entertaining, and simply outstanding in every performance!
A few commentators commended Camp for her honesty in voicing her displeasure over not receiving recognition for what she considered significant contributions.
One user expressed: ‘Being completely authentic! I adore you for this!’ while another commented, ‘ANNA, you’re genuinely sincere for this.’
One said, ‘Love that you are honest about the complex emotions these things bring out!.’
As a completely captivated admirer, let me say that your latest performance left me absolutely spellbound. In fact, it was so outstanding, I found myself double-checking whether there were actually two of you out there! Truly remarkable.
The user commented: ‘Award values shouldn’t define your worth as an actress, because YOU were fantastic and numerous viewers recognized it!’
First aired on Lifetime in 2018, the show later moved to Netflix for its final four seasons. Despite being on air for five years, it never received an Emmy nomination.

Later on, the actress expressed gratitude on Instagram Stories towards her fans for standing by her during the unfortunate incident.
She said, ‘I love my followers You were … snubs are for scrubs. I’ll down one for you.’
On Tuesday morning, from the Wolf Theatre in Los Angeles, Brenda Song and Harvey Guillén announced the nominees according to the Television Academy.
Severance had the most nominations with 27 total, while The Penguin had 24 and The Studio had 23.
The Emmy Awards will take place in Los Angeles in September.
