Anjelica Huston reveals she is ‘in the clear’ after private, years-long cancer battle

Huston was rather vague about the specifics of her treatment, instead choosing to express that her situation prompted her to downplay matters. In an interview six years after her diagnosis, Huston informed People magazine that she had been in remission from cancer for a considerable amount of time.

In a recent statement, Huston, whose illustrious career in film and television took off in the late ’60s, shared that she’s been savoring life’s simple pleasures – quite literally. Overjoyed by her cancer-free diagnosis, the “Grifters” star has been taking leisurely walks through her garden, pausing to breathe in the fragrance of roses and marvel at her own cleverness.
