I’ve been watching Frank and Templeton’s hilarious rivalry since the very beginning of Animal Control, and it’s been a constant battle of pranks! Now that they’re forced to work as a team, I’m really curious to see if they can finally put aside their differences and focus on helping the animals. Frank actually showed he could do it before, like during that amazing bear cub rescue in season four – he let Templeton take the praise, which was a really big deal, and showed a lot of character. I’m hoping we see more of that teamwork!

While reporting on the rescue, Templeton unexpectedly showed a decades-old photo of Frank without a shirt, revealing a physique Frank hadn’t wanted anyone to see. Frank jokingly admitted the picture sparked a surprising amount of anger within him. Templeton then hinted he had even more embarrassing photos ready to share.

The show hinted that the rivalry between Frank and Templeton will escalate in season 4, especially since they’ll be forced to collaborate. Frank, who’s always been in charge of animal control, will face challenges to his authority as he and Templeton compete for the unofficial position of lead officer – a role both desperately want.

Emily & Shred’s Romance In Animal Control Has Another Obstacle

Okay, so the Animal Control season finale was a bit of a rollercoaster! After all that build-up, Emily and Shred finally kissed – seriously, that ‘will they/won’t they’ thing was killing me! It happened after they got Oreo the penguin back with his penguin pal, and everyone was celebrating. But here’s where it gets messy: Shred is still seeing Isabelle, and to top it all off, Emily’s actually his boss! Talk about complicated!

The fourth season of Animal Control began with Shred ending things with Isabelle. Meanwhile, Emily felt she needed to disclose their relationship at work. When she called her boss, he explained that due to a recent merger, she was under increased scrutiny and needed to stay completely focused on her work. He also warned her that others, including Templeton, were vying for her position, but expressed confidence in her ability to handle things professionally.

After learning this news, Emily decided to pause her relationship with Shred and suggested they wait a few months. Though disappointed, Shred agreed, even when a stuffed penguin – a gift marking their first kiss – was shown to everyone. This setback will test their connection, potentially leading to a secret romance or the end of their relationship. But if Emily and Shred do get back together, it promises to be an exciting moment.

Kyla Pratt’s Daisy Is A Hilarious Cast Addition For Season 4

The cast of Animal Control is fantastic and has great chemistry. Adding Kyla Pratt as Daisy, Templeton’s new partner, was a brilliant decision. She’s incredibly funny and always supportive of Templeton, which really gets under Frank’s skin. Daisy is a welcome addition to the show and promises even more laughs in season four. She truly revitalizes the sitcom.

Season four of Animal Control surprised viewers by merging the two police precincts, but it still delivered the show’s familiar, funny charm. The season mixes old and new characters with the main cast, keeping the show lively and entertaining. Animal Control remains a consistently hilarious watch.
