Aniimo, an open-world creature-catching RPG, is getting closer to its 2026 release, and a new closed beta test is now available with fresh content. In Aniimo, you’ll explore the world of Idyll, collecting and combining unique creatures as you play.

I’m excited to try the closed beta test after seeing the new trailer at The Game Awards on Thursday. It showed off new Animo forms like Fentuft, Momand, and Cubbo – who’s the boss for the new area on Idyll’s map. We’ll be able to transform into these Animo using the Twining mechanic.

The Homeland feature lets you create and improve your home base with the help of your Aniimo characters. You can collect resources by traveling in RVs to a campsite – it’s a bit like a fun amusement park combined with farming! And don’t miss the new Egg Heist game mode, it looks really exciting.

How to sign up for Aniimo second closed beta test

I’m so excited! Aniimo is planning another closed beta test next year, and this time it’s coming to both iOS and PC! It’s a limited-time thing, and they’ll be wiping the data, but the cool part is if you get access through iOS TestFlight, you’ll be able to play on both iOS and switch over to PC. Just remember to delete any older test versions before it starts!

Here’s how you can apply for the Aniimo closed beta test:

If you’re chosen, you’ll probably be notified by email, and you’ll receive the download links that way too. I’ve applied for the test and I’m hoping to be selected – I really love the game’s art style and cute characters – but it will be a while before we find out.
