To mark its 10th anniversary, Kojima Productions has partnered with Anicorn to release the LUDENS X collection. Building on their successful 2022 collaboration, SPACE LUDENS, this new line of products was overseen by Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa and boasts a bolder, more dramatic, and film-like design.
Inspired by the futuristic space armor of the studio’s character, Ludens, this watch is like having a miniature “EVA Creative Suit” on your wrist. It features a 39mm blackened stainless steel case that’s 12.7mm thick, with design details – like corner screws and gold accents – mirroring the mechanical look of the Ludens suit. The bezel is engraved with the phrases “BEYOND THE STRAND” and “INTO OUTER SPACE,” representing a transition from earthly connection to the vastness of space.
The watch face has several layers and a bold, industrial design with a brushed metal panel and visible screws. It includes markings celebrating the 10th anniversary and the Kojima Productions logo. The hour and minute hands are filled with blue Super-LumiNova BGW9 for easy reading in low light, and they’re protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Inside, a modified NH35-ATD automatic movement powers the watch, which you can see through a clear caseback featuring unique branding and an individual serial number.
The main LUDENS X Watch Set launches on August 5, 2026, at 10 p.m. EDT and will cost $940. It comes with both a black stainless steel bracelet and a leather strap with a carbon fiber design, so you can choose how to wear it. The release also includes a special black cuff bracelet with gold details and a numbered warranty card displayed in a case. Additionally, ANICORN will sell a silver cuff bracelet separately for $65 and a metal poster celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Ludens character for $48.
