The latest Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Rush, is now available for early access on both Android and iOS in the US. Developed by Rovio Entertainment and Dark Matter Gaming, it combines the classic Angry Birds physics-based gameplay with a new time-travel element.

Explore new worlds and challenges while knocking down piggy towers

The game offers a unique twist on the classic tower-knocking gameplay. Instead of simply destroying piggy structures, you’ll journey through iconic scenes from history and different time periods. You’ll explore a wide variety of beautifully designed levels, ranging from ancient temples and medieval villages to vibrant, modern cityscapes.

In the game, you’ll attack other players’ bases – built by pigs – to collect resources. Then, you’ll use those resources to rebuild and strengthen your own base before they have a chance to retaliate. Each bird has unique abilities, making it fun to destroy structures and create awesome chain reactions.

Angry Birds Rush offers continuous gameplay with new eras, challenges, and unlockable rewards. You can also compete with friends on a leaderboard by collecting rewards – there’s a lot to keep you playing! The game is currently in early access, meaning the developers will regularly add updates and new content.

Players in the US on Android and iOS devices are the first to try out this new bird-themed game. It’s available for download now in the Google Play Store and App Store. We don’t have information yet on when it will be released in other countries.
