During the Friday night episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Angellica Bell found herself shedding tears.

As I found myself nestled within the walls of the Big Brother house at the ripe age of 49, I couldn’t help but reminisce about my illustrious television journey – a path that had been both exciting and emotional for me as a former CBBC star.

On the night of the eviction, things changed when Angellica grew emotional over her long-standing career as a presenter, which stretches back over 25 years.

On our anniversary gathering, she expressed how her passion for child-friendly entertainment significantly contributed to her achieving a prosperous career.

Angellica began to feel a little emotional among her roommates when she reflected on all the accomplishments she’s made throughout her life.

I can’t help but feel immense pride about it! You see, this amazing opportunity took me on a journey, and let me tell you, my love for kids only grew stronger. But, let me be honest, it gets pretty emotional sometimes.

Overwhelmed by emotion, I find myself uttering: “There’s something truly captivating about kids. They’re untouched by the world’s cynicism and life’s weariness.

The TV star added that she found a letter from a young girl that she inspired to get into acting. 

Years later, Angellica then found out she went to drama school and became a teacher.

Over on X, fans couldn’t help but tell Angellica how inspirational she is. 

One individual expressed: ‘Angelica Bell remains a timeless figure, and that’s never going to change! I adore her immensely! #BigBrother #CBBUK.’

Another wrote: ‘Happy 25 years of being a TV presenter, Angellica Bell! Here’s to another 25!’

A third added: ‘Angellica celebrating 25 years she looks so young did she start at birth?’

After working on CBBC, Angellica then took up hosting roles for shows like BBC’s The One Show and The Martin Lewis Money Show.

Earlier this week, fans were left shocked after Angellica revealed her ‘real age’ on the show.

Many took to X to share their thoughts. 

A short while after Angellica stepped into the well-known house on a Monday, Michael Underwood subtly suggested that Angellica would discuss her prop from The Martin Lewis Money Show – the axe.

Michael, who crossed paths with his wife during their stints in children’s television around the turn of the millennium, posted a video on Instagram expressing his feelings upon seeing her make her debut on the premiere episode.

In the video, he mentioned that Angellica appears to be the less favored character in the show, considering the high-profile actors ITV executives have contracted.

The duo tied the knot in 2010 and they share two kids as their family. Recently, it’s been disclosed that Michael transitioned into becoming a primary school teacher following the decline of opportunities in television roles.

Additionally, he subtly suggested that viewers might find Angellica discussing her alleged dismissal from Martin Lewis’ Money Show. This topic could arise because of rumors suggesting her termination stemmed from a perceived conflict of interest due to her involvement in a competing Channel 5 program.

Michael mentioned to his audience that he and his spouse had learned about this year’s roster from internet rumors, expressing: “It seems like a solid lineup to me, I truly believe that.

Certainly, it would seem unwise to deny that she’s the underdog on this team. Yet, I fervently wish she enters the arena and demonstrates the abilities I’ve witnessed daily for the past 25 years, and have observed every day since we became acquainted, as well as the talents that have shone brightly in our marriage.

As a devoted admirer, I’m expressing my hope that you have an opportunity to witness her genuine, humorous, and frank nature. Sometimes, I believe this aspect of her personality doesn’t fully shine through in her television work due to the specific type of programs she’s involved with.

‘But this is her chance to be herself, and I think that would work really well for her.’
