Angelina Jolie Struggles to Trust Men After Brad Pitt Trauma

Angelina Jolie‘s legal separation from Brad Pitt seems to have concluded, yet in terms of romantic relationships, she appears to be taking her time before moving forward.

Back in December, the once-powerful pair officially concluded their long-standing, acrimonious divorce proceedings, marking the end of one of Tinseltown’s most notorious splits after eight years.

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly over the weekend, she finds it difficult to trust men due to her past experiences with Brad.

‘She hasn’t sworn off men, but she’s not looking for anything serious right now.’

The confidential source mentioned that the actress portraying Maleficent finds it challenging to move past the emotional turmoil from her past relationship with Pitt, implying that she’s currently not seeking romance.

Jolie (49 years old) and Pitt (61 years old) are parents to six kids: Shiloh (18), Knox and Vivienne (adopted twins, aged 16), Maddox (23, adopted), Pax (21, adopted), and Zahara (19, adopted).

It appears that, even though the divorce has been finalized, Jolie seems to be focusing on herself and her family rather than pursuing any potential new relationships.

The source added that Jolie feels ‘fulfilled’ and is ‘content with her children and life.’

Last month, a source near Jolie depicted the divorce proceedings as a horrific ordeal for both Jolie and her loved ones.

According to a different source, the past eight years have been incredibly difficult and challenging for her and her family, as reported by People.

A confidant of Pitt refuted Jolie’s statements, stating to People that “Jolie has launched one-sided critiques for the last eight years, often distorting facts and attributing her own behavior to others, which has caused significant damage to those within and connected to our family.

It was confirmed on Monday that Pitt and Jolie have finally resolved their divorce issues, marking the conclusion of a lengthy, challenging legal battle which had lasted nearly nine years.

Nevertheless, a significant issue lingers undecided – their ongoing disagreement concerning the $62 million estate, a French château and vineyard that was previously shared by them.

This week, the previously well-known pairing, often referred to as ‘Brangelina,’ finalized their divorce documents.

James Simon, Jolie’s lawyer, shared with DailyMail.com that the actress feels a sense of relief now that this particular matter has been brought to a conclusion.

‘Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,’ Simon said.

Over eight years past, I, as a lifestyle expert, find it necessary to share that Angelina made the decision to part ways with her husband, Mr. Pitt, through divorce. Since then, she and the children have moved from the shared properties, and ever since, her primary focus has been on cultivating tranquility and healing for their family.

After the separation, it’s said that Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne have chosen not to include Pitt as part of their surname anymore.

It’s thought that Knox and Vivienne occasionally keep in touch with their father, but Maddox and Pax seem to have grown apart from him.

Despite the fact that their divorce is now officially completed, the dispute about Château Miraval, an esteemed vineyard in France, continues to be a point of contention in the legal arena.

Pitt alleges that Jolie sold her share in the vineyard to the Stoli Group, famous for producing Stolichnaya vodka, without obtaining his prior approval.

Despite progress in their divorce proceedings, the vineyard dispute shows no signs of resolution.

According to sources, they’re ready to either face a jury trial or engage in mediation, whichever seems appropriate.

Sources have informed DailyMail.com that both sides are willing to either go to court for a trial by jury or opt for mediation if the situation requires it.
