Angela Bishop Honors Her Late Husband on 7th Anniversary of His Death
On the occasion that would have marked their 20th wedding anniversary, esteemed entertainment journalist Angela Bishop paid an emotional homage to her late spouse, Peter Baikie.

’20 years ago today. I miss you with all my heart,’ Angela wrote in the caption.
In the picture, Angela is seen adorning an elegant cream wedding dress complete with a veil and a long trail, as they strike poses for their professionally taken wedding photographs.
Peter looked dashing in a formal black suit with a white dress shirt and cream tie.

In the photo, the couple can be seen gazing adoringly at one another.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve often shared my heartfelt experiences about the profound sorrow that struck me when my beloved partner, Peter, succumbed to a rare form of cancer in November 2017. At only 54 years old, his life was cut tragically short.
The couple share a 15-year-old daughter, Amelia.

Lauren Zonfrillo, the wife of the late MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo, expressed her support by posting three red heart emojis symbolizing love.
Meanwhile, Australian actress Kerry Armstrong sent a beautiful message to Angela.
‘Pete’s affection for you, Ang, was clear and strong, as was yours for him. That love will continue to endure eternally,’ the SeaChange star wrote.
Angela and Peter met in 2002 in a bar and married three years later in 2005.
2021 saw Angela sharing her feelings of sorrow that resurface on Father’s Day, as she faced double losses.
The entertainment reporter lost both her father Alan and then her husband seven years apart.
In an article for Stellar magazine, the previous Studio 10 star expressed that Father’s Day is the most challenging day of the year for them.
‘The sight of a father holding his little girl’s hand in the street becomes impossible to bear.’
In the year 2010, Angela’s dad, Alan, lost his life after a long struggle of eight years against gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
Angela, a seasoned reporter on the red carpet, has also dabbled in acting, most notably with a brief appearance in the 1983 movie “BMX Bandits,” where she shared screen time with the renowned actress, Nicole Kidman.
She has also made two cameo appearances on American soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
In 2021, she received the Medal of the Order of Australia, honoring her contributions to the field of entertainment journalism.
