Andy Dick breaks his silence on scary ‘overdose’ and admits to smoking CRACK before passing out

Oh my god, I just saw the new video, and Andy Dick actually said he used to smoke crack! It’s so heartbreaking to hear, especially knowing what happened – that scary situation that looked like an overdose. I’m just… I’m really worried about him, and it’s awful to think about what he’s been through. I just hope he gets the help he needs.

The 59-year-old comedian initially seemed puzzled when asked about troubling photos taken of him on a Hollywood street on Tuesday. He then told TMZ he had used drugs with a stranger he met there.

Dick, speaking with difficulty, openly admitted to occasional crack cocaine use, saying, ‘I don’t mind doing a little every now and then.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Dick’s team for a statement, but they haven’t heard back yet.

Actor Andy Dick, famous for his roles in the TV show NewsRadio and the movie Zoolander, recently appeared in a new video with two friends. One of those friends stated that Dick was given Narcan, a drug used to reverse opioid overdoses.

Narcan doesn’t work on crack cocaine because cocaine isn’t an opioid. But, fentanyl – a very strong opioid – is sometimes added to other drugs, and Narcan can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose in those cases.

Fentanyl itself can also be smoked on aluminum foil, similar to the drug that Dick described.
