Andy Cohen weighs in on whether Real Housewives Of New Jersey will ever return after it was put on hiatus
Andy Cohen has given insights into the current status of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, following his announcement last summer about the series undergoing a revival.
On The View’s morning show, the 57-year-old executive producer, facing allegations of masterminding an assault against a Bravo celebrity, shared his thoughts with the host panel, baring some insights.
He affirmed they were currently conducting auditions for the show “Real Housewives of Jersey.” Regarding the break, he explained, “We had gone into a significant halt, but now we’re actively involved in casting and considering the potential direction for its future.
I can’t help but passionately express my unwavering admiration for this incredible franchise. And let me tell you, not only do I personally feel this way, but so does Bravo Network – we absolutely adore it!
As a devoted fan, I had the pleasure of witnessing my favorite media figure grace our screens a day following his birthday celebration. Dressed impeccably in a navy blue suit, complete with a stylishly striped white and blue shirt, and donning black-framed glasses, he was nothing short of dapper.
In July, Cohen left fans guessing when he hinted that Bravo had something unusual planned after the season 14 finale and reunion.

Then, in August news came that the show likely wouldn’t pick up filming until some point in 2025.
In my recent update, I find myself at the center of an engaging ensemble, including the captivating Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, the radiant Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, who have all taken on leading roles.
Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler also made appearances as friends.
Details regarding updates on the series had been limited until Andy’s visit to The View this week.
However, earlier this year, Andy contradicted suggestions that only Melissa and Dolores would be coming back to the program, also mentioning the addition of some fresh faces.
As reported by Page Six, during a broadcast of his self-titled SiriusXM show in February, he made the following statement: ‘If a statement begins with “Bravo has announced” or “Andy said on his radio…”, then it can be considered true. I would advise you to only trust these statements. Don’t believe anything else.’
In a March episode of her On Display podcast, Gorga shared her thoughts on why she believes the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise was damaged.
She clarified that it was an ongoing, even ruthless contest they were involved in, which she likened to the Hunger Games. It seemed they were always strategizing and maneuvering, leaving her wondering if they ever rested at all, to which she exclaimed, “Jesus Christ, do you guys ever take a break?

Additionally, during his appearance on The View, he enthusiastically discussed the upcoming expansion of Bravo’s Housewives series – specifically, Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
He shared with Page Six that the new show has a distinctly Italian feel. Given Rhode Island’s small size, everyone seems to know one another and there’s quite an overlap. It’s an extraordinary group of women who have intriguing connections. I believe it will leave viewers pleasantly surprised.
And the longtime host compared it to RHONJ, noting that the main distinction is location.
He mentioned that they are currently situated in Rhode Island, a coastal state. He further explained that the revised group seems to have a stronger Italian influence, characterized by deep-rooted family ties.
